"Cause I dont cook, and you're not changing that."

"M'not trying to change you, Kol," Astrid replied with a frown, "I'm only teasing, you know that,"

"Well the women in your family have a thing for changing men, an as muh as I lie you I'm not about to become one of them."

"I'd never try to change you," Astrid assured quietly, frowning, "I like you as you are. What's the point in changing someone your with, you have feelings for who they are, so they should stay as they are otherwise they may aswell be someone else."

Kol just nodded.

"And I hope you believe me when I say that,"

Kol dipped his head once.

"Good," She whispered softly.

Kol finished the rest of his drink then.

She had the last few sips of her own and put the glass down.

Once he was finished he too put his glass down.

"You're all quiet now,"

"M'not really all that talkative anyway."

She gave a nod, "I know," she replied before asking, "You want to head back to the hotel?"

"Sure," he nodded.

Astrid headed out of the pub silently and back towards the hotel.

Kol followed behind her.

She reached behind herself to see if he'd take her hand.

Kol took her hand quietly, lacing his fingers with hers.

Astrid smiled gently and squeezed his hand, heading into the hotel quietly when they got there.

"You might wanna call your mother and let her know you're okay, you know what she's like when it comes to worrying."

"I will later,"

"What if she calls later whilst we're busy?"

"Then I'll ignore her and phone her back when we're not busy," She hummed gently.

"If you're sure you want her interrupting us."
