Alec: opens his arms to her

"I love you too,"

Fleur sat herself down on his lap and leant her head back to kiss his cheek. "You know, I've been looking for a way to make it so you don't have to shift anymore."

"I know," Astrid whispered, slowly pulling away from him then.

Alec: wraps his arms around her waist holding her close to him You have?

Kol gave her a soft smile, looking round when Vanessa stormed in.

"Hey Ness," Astrid greeted with a quiet laugh, "I can see your in your normal good mood."

"Mm, I haven't found anything yet though. Unfortunately." She sighed.

"I walked out because they were dissecting stuff and some kid pointed out my eyes went yellow, I'm sure mom will get a call about my absence soon." Vanessa grumbled as she slung her bag on the floor and her keys on the side.

"Aww, baby can't handle a little blood?" Kol snickered, ducking when Vanessa threw a vase at him.

"I remember when you were Mia's age and used to complain to me that Klaus wouldn't let you go to school, now your matching lessons." Astrid mused with a laugh.

Alec: There probably isn't a way to make it stop then.

"Fine, I'll go back into my Biology class, Vamp out and let everyone alert the media that I exist shall I?" Vanessa retorted sarcastically. "All this stuff is stuff that dad taught me when I was like five anyway."

"What's wrong, Vanessa?" Astrid asked with a raised eyebrow, "You've had a really bad attitude lately."

"There is one way I know of but it's a no go. For many reasons." She whispered quietly in response.

"Nothing's wrong. You know me, if anything was wrong Id have said something about it." Vanessa deadpanned.

"You've just got more attitude then normal."

"Well you're not my mom, S'not like it matters to you."

"I'm your sister though, so yeah, it does matter to me." Astrid frowned.

Alec: What is it though?

"Barely." Vanessa shrugged. "We're only related by mom and you hate my dad."

"It won't happen, Alec, and you wouldn't want it to happen anyway so there isn't really a point in telling you about it."

"Hate is a strong word," She replied with a roll of her eyes, "So we're only half sisters, still sisters. But fine, whatever, you don't want to tell me what's wrong then oh well. I'll drop it."

Alec: You brought it up though so just tell me. Please?

"You're not denying you dislike him though, if anyone's got a problem around here then it's not me."

"The only way that's already known is if you become a hybrid but that'd involve finding Malvolio's Uncle, getting doppleganger blood and complicated stuff like that. It'd also mean you'd be sired, your free will would be taken away. It's a no for so many reasons."

Astrid just let out a bored sigh and headed into the kitchen, asking over her shoulder, "Want a drink or something Kol?"

"M'fine." Kol shook his head.

"He's lying, he wants to go out and feed, and he's meeting with a friend later but he's thinking about cancelling because it's with blondie and you're back together, again." she rolled her eyes

Kol shot Vanessa a look, "How the hell do you know that?"

"I'm intuitive, I heard you two sopping it up in here when I was outside and I heard you make plans with her yesterday, and you're trying to hide your teeth when you speak, ergo your fangs are out and you're thirsty."

"Go hunt if you need to," Astrid told Kol with a small frown before she left the room, "And you don't have to cancel your plans with Olivia on account of me, though I don't like her and she doesn't like me, she's your friend so I can put up with her for you."

Alec: shook his head hugging her I'm remaining wherever you are.
