Tatia pulled herself awake a minute or two later. "Sorry." She mumbled

Vanessa pulled away teasingly.

Finn watched him before looking up himself.

"Wish we went to the same place the humans go when we died, it hurts more knowing where it is she's stuck," Malvolio whispered.

Finn just nodded.

Malvolio was silent then, just watching the sky.

"What for?" Klaus asked with a frown, "Go back to sleep, love,"

Nate frowned at her

"No I'm okay." She shook her head in protest. "We haven't had we time in ages, I'm okay."

"You look like a kicked puppy, cheer up." Falin grinned.

Finn just watched him quietly.

"You're going to get into the habit of that, though," Nate frowned, "I can see it and it's not funny from my side of it."

Klaus just frowned, whispering, "If you're sure,"

Malvolio  glanced to him, grimacing when he saw he was watching him and asking, "What?"

"Like you've never teased me before." Vanessa pointed out; "All those mornings working me up then keaving before we got to the good part because you had to go to work."

"I am, like I said, not tired, just comfy."

"Nothing. You just look similar to her when you make that face. Not that you don't always look similar. You're about as identical as fraternal twins can get."

Nate just laughed at that, "Ah, I had a genuine reason for only teasing you though. What's yours?" he asked.

"Mm," Klaus hummed doubtfully.

Malvolio let out a small sigh, sitting himself up a little bit and just nodding in response.

"She's probably here you know." Finn pointed out; "Sitting with us, telling us to stop being so soft." He chuckled. "Trying to whack one of us round the head."

Tatia took his hand gently then, playing with his wedding ring.

"That teasing only makes you want it more. And I like being wanted…"

Malvolio gave a nod of agreement, "When I nicked her body she was probably screaming at me for being so stupid, throughout these few months probably been trying to snatch the alcohol away from me. Probably breaking her heart to see us like this." After a moments hesitation he whispered, "I'm going to bring her back, dad, don't care what it is I'd have to give up…"

Klaus watched her quietly.

"You're always wanted."

"Good, m'glad."

Tatia laced her fingers with his. "Can't believe we've been married this long…"

"That's a bold thing to say Mal. A very bold one. What if it requires something you don't want to give up?"

"Other Side is horrible, not letting her stay there.  What'd I have to give up that I wouldn't be willing to?"

"Mm, it's gone quite quick." He agreed with a nod.

Nate nodded.

"Your vampirism, Violet would kill you herself if you gave up that. You may have to sacrifice someone else you love…"

"It's been a good time though, me you, the kids."

--

Vanessa kissed him softly.

"I need to bring her back though…" Malvolio replied with a deep sigh. "Why're you so hesitant about it? If I had a kid and it died I'd do anything to bring it back, screw thinking rationally about it."

Klaus gave a nod, "And as soon as this little one meets the world, we'll make you a vampire again and have the rest of eternity."

Nate kissed her back.

"Because the price I have to pay for the witches to bring her back is you or Cameron. In not sacrificing either one of you."

Tatia smiled, kissing his cheek. "Eternity sounds great."

Vanessa pulled away once again, "Come on, the spare room still needs painting."

"How'd you know that…? You've spoken to them about it?" Malvolio asked with a deep frown.

"We've only just washed after attempting to paint that room." Nate pointed out with a laugh.

Klaus smiled.

"Well no splashing this time then." Vanessa smirked

Finn nodded. "There's also the spell that Tatia underwent, but I haven't discussed having another child with Sage, and I'm not sure I like the idea of having a child purely for that reason… as selfish as that may sound."

"How about, once I'm not pregnant anymore, we go on holiday, a family one?"

"Sure," Klaus nodded with a bright smile.

"But that makes it boring,"

"Can't you give up your vampirism or something?" He asked, grimacing at how selfish that sounded, "Sorry… I didn't mean that. I just…"

"Fine, just no tipping entire paint pots over."

"Hope and Henrik will love it, sandcastles that they can destroy, we can teach them to swim..."

"That wouldn't be fair on anybody son, I'm sorry. I can't let Cameron grow up without me,"

"I know…" Malvolio mumbled quietly, glancing down at the ground. "Didn't mean it like that. M'sorry. I just want my sister back, I just don't want her where she is."

Klaus smiled and nodded.

Nate nodded.

"I know son, I know. I'll speak to Sage at some point… you might want to try talking too your girlfriend about it." He suggested. "That is, of course, if you don't think Violet would rather stay where she is."

Tatia smiled at the thought. "And Mia could go searching for stuff in the sea, e able to impress everyone with how well she can hold her breath."

Vanessa headed into the spare room then.

"No… not where she is, heck no." Malvolio shook his head before hesitating and whispering, "I'll ask the witches to do a spell so we can speak to her… then we can ask her what she wants, I suppose. But… I was thinking, if she doesn't want to come back we can suggest the price for her coming back is that she's human so then when she dies she'll go to somewhere nice."

Klaus nodded.

Nate followed.

"Would you be able to do that?" Finn asked softly. "Be able to sit and slowly watch her age and die before your eyes?" he shook his head. "Violet would rather die than be human."

Vanessa picked up a brush again and started to paint the walls, being as careful as she could.

Tatia nuzzled her face into his neck and stretched out a little.

"Could bring her back human, then kill her. Then she won't be on the other side but the nicer place that apparantly exists." He replied, though didn't sound like he liked it. "I'mma find a way to talk to her, find out if she wants to come back. You speak to Sage and I'll speak to Trin." he decided finally.

"Just remember you and Violet said goodbye before she died. You parted ways. She may not want to go back on that if she is brought back especially if it comes you and Trinity having a baby to bring her back."
