"No particular reason." Kol shrugged.

The man pulled out a vampire compass, but he didn't open it as the new mayor came over. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Making your town safe from these leeches." He suddenly shot the mayor, though not to kill him and he didn't notice both Damon and Elijah look away at the scent of the blood.

Kaida wrinkled her nose a little bit at the scent of it to, tightening her hand around Elijah's gently

Falin frowned deeply and approached Damon, rather casually, sliding her hand into his without and words and whispering softly to him, "Focus on me, lets try and get out of here."

"Shall we leave?" Nate asked Vanessa quietly.

"There must be some reason you like the silly sport," She laughed quietly.

"We can't leave without being questioned..." Vanessa shook her head.

"I don't know why." Kol shrugged. "It's just something I like."

"You go, it will look suspicious if most of us leave." Damon whispered and he watched the hunter walk over to where Charlotte, Stefan and Elena were.

Nate frowned deeply but gave a nod of understanding.

Astrid just gave a small nod, leaning up to kiss his cheek gently

"M'not leaving you," Falin replied bluntly, moving a little bit closer to Damon.

Jeremy just slid his arms around Charlotte's waist, watching the hunter cautiously.

"The only indestructible one here is my uncle." Vanessa whispered, "The rest of us can die."

Kol tightened his arms around her a little.

Charlotte stayed close to Jeremy watching the man as he suddenly stopped and stared at Charlotte.

Damon watched the hunter and his sister, feeling tense as he hoped that out of spite, no one reported her.

Nate nodded a little bit, "You're not going to get hurt, I won't let anyone harm you, angel," he promised quietly.

Jeremy pulled Charlotte a little more closer to him protectively, asking the hunter calmly, "Is there a problem?" with narrowed eyes.

Falin watched quietly.

Astrid smiled before resting her head on his chest and closing her eyes.

"Elijah do something." Damon whispered. "You can't die, she can."

Elijah watched Charlotte and the hunter, trying to come up with an idea.

The hunter ignored Jeremy. "Go over to the body and stand there." He told her. "Or I will shoot your friend here "

Vanessa just leaned over to kiss Nates cheek, before kicking off her heels so she could walk silently. She then lifted up her dress and crossed the distance between her and the hunter silently and with vampire speed, before pushing his head to the side and sinking her fangs into his neck.

Kol glanced down with a smile.

"What do you expect him to do, Damon? The only thing he'd be able to do would result in him getting hurt."  Kaida hissed a little at Damon, tightening her grip on Elijah's hand to keep him at her side.

Jeremy just moved Charlotte behind him a little bit, protectivly. Smiling a bit at what Vanessa done.

"He's probably high on vervain, Vanessa!" Falin called over with a frowned when she saw what Vanessa done.

Nate just watched cautiously, moving so he was closer.

"I'm pretty excited for these two little ones, scared but excited too." Astrid told Kol quietly.

True to what Falin said, the hunter was topped up with Vervain.

Charlotte touched Jeremys hand. "Let me."

"At least he can't die."

"Don't be scared, it'll all be fine." Kol soothed.

Vanessa managed to drain enough to weaken the hunter, before dropping to the floor unconscious and struggling for breath.

Trinity: laughed softly rubbing Spirits head

"No, Damon," Kaida hissed, giving Elijah a pointed look. "Be selfish, Lijah, you can't do anything other than wait it up."

Nate cursed quietly and picked Vanessa up in his arms, backing away from the hunter as he lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "Keep breathing, angel, stay with me."

"I know, it's still pretty scary though, isn't it?" Astrid whispered.

Vanessa lay lifeless in his arms, still completely knocked out.

"A little, but it'll all work out."

Astrid gave a small nod.

"You'll be a great mother." He said quietly, kissing just below her ear.

"And you'll be a brilliant father," Astrid replied with a small smile.

Kol just gave a small hesitant nod.

Astrid blinked her eyes open to look at him, reaching her hand up to brush her fingers through his hair gently. Offering him a gentle smile.

"I'll do my best." He whispered.

Charlotte walked to the body and she kept her back to the hunter as her face vamped out and as the man went to shoot her, Elijah was quicker, he managed to grab the gun and two gunshot went off but it wasn't clear got hit.

Damon watched his sister and friend.

"I know you will," She whispered, "And that's how I know you'll be brilliant,"

While all of this was going off, Nate quickly left with Vanessa. Instantly going at vampire speed towards Klaus and Tatia's.

Falin watched Nate and Vanessa go with a frown before watching Elijah and grimacing.

Jeremy quickly got to Charlotte and pulled her into his arms, "You should of stayed behind me, Charlotte," he hissed at her.

"Elijah!" Kaida frowned, watching.
