"Ok, both of you out, because that is gross." Bonnie told them playfully

"I'm only trying to help her." The nurse frowned when she saw the look on Nate's face. "I'm only doing what's best for her."

Kaida just rolled her eyes before heading out.

"No, you're not." Nate shook his head, "We know when she needs to go back better than anyone, and Ness'll agree with me on that."

"And are you two qualified doctors or nurses or pediatricians?" The nurse raised her eyebrows.

"No, but she's my baby. I have maternal instincts." Vanessa snapped.

Elijah left with her.

"We're not stupid,",Nate snapped at the nurse. "I'm sick of you and the other nurses and doctors. Bossing us around, like know it alls. Limiting the time we have to see our own child. Acting as if I have less rights then Vanessa does and treating us both like we know nothing. Like we're babies having a baby. You know nothing about us, and you definitely know nothing of our daughter so f**k off and if we need you we'll call for you."

"What memory did she bring up, that made you tear up?" Kaida asked softly, grabbing Elijah's hand, "Talk to me about it,"

"The memory of when my brother was killed, and when I saw you and Emily."

"Nate." Tatia sighed softly.

"If you continue to show aggressive behavior I'll have you removed." The nurse said simply.

Vanessa looked between Nate and the nurse before announcing. "I want to discharge her, we can take care of her from now, we know what she needs."

"I strongly recommend you don't do that."

"That's exactly what I'm going to do." Vanessa hissed, looking towards Nate, "As long as you don't have any issues with it?"

She just gave a nod, turning to study his face quietly,  "I'm proud of you, you know. You're doing well."

"Oh, that's what you always do. Call me aggressive for telling you the truth and don't you dare 'Nate' me, Tatia. Don't. You. Dare. I'm sick of you for the moment aswell, this is nothing to do with you." Nate replied sharply before nodding in response to Vanessa, "Anywhere is better than this place for her, I think home is the best place for her. I'm fine with discharging her - whether it's recommended or not."

He smiled slightly. "Come in, lets walk home instead, I'll get the car in the morning."

Kaida nodded and took his hand, walking quietly.

"Sort her out, get her off the drips and ready to take home." Vanessa told the nurse, "Nate'll sign whatever form needs signing whilst I go and sort out the carseat." she then got up and headed out.

The nurse sighed and pulled out a few consent forms to Nate for him to sign, basically saying he gave permission for the baby to be discharged and that anything that happened to her at home wouldn't be the doctors fault.

"This is my business, she's my granddaughter. Vanessa's my daughter." Tatia said quietly.

He gently kissed her hand.

"And Holly is my daughter. I can tell the nurse how I feel if I like to and I it's not like you can disagree with what I told the nurse either. All the same, Ness agrees with me and that's all that matters really." Nate replied, signing where he was suppose to.

Elijah started the walk home with her. "You know, its been pretty quiet since you left me." He told her.

Tatia just rolled her eyes at that, passing Nate a bag - that was full of clothes and other essentials - she'd brought for Holly that Vanessa had text her to bring for when Holly was coming home. "Tell Ness I'll see her later." she said before leaving.

The nurse took the forms and looked them over, before starting to unhook machines and drips from Holly, causing a few quiet whines and sniffles.

Kaida smiled before asking, "Have you asked the Salvatores to speak to Serene to bring Em back? Tatia can't get a hold of Aria." She frowned, "I didn't leave you, Lijah. Just needed some time alone, like you did."

"Sshh," Nate soothed, putting the bag Tatia gave him down and picking his daughter up gently when he could. "It's okay Holly,"

"You can take her now." The nurse said quietly.

Holly snuffled in her fathers arms, before starting to cry loudly.

"Sshh," Nate whispered, rocking her gently to try and soothe her to sleep.

Holly just continued to cry.

Vanessa came back a minute or so later. "Cars all set up." she said quietly, grimacing when she heard Holly's cries.

"I wish we'd have killed that pathetic toerag ages ago." Tatia hissed as she came through the door, slamming it behind her.

"Why? What happened?" Klaus asked with a frown.

Nate nodded, "Would you like to hold her, try and calm her?"

Vanessa nodded, walking over and gently taking their daughter from him, holding her and rubbing her back.

"He told me that what happens to Holly is none of my business." Tatia seethed. "Him and Vanessa have discharged her from the hospital, even though the nurse said she wouldn't be ready for a few days!"

"It's their choice, Tat," Klaus frowned, "They're probably sick of the nurses and I see why they are. I don't like nurses and doctors either. I'm sure Holly'll be fine."

Nate picked up the bag quietly and walked towards the car.

"I can't stand him." Tatia muttered as she sat down next to him. "And it sounds like Vanessa's taking the baby back there instead of here, which is ridiculous because here in her room is where she's set all the stuff up for the baby."

Vanessa walked behind him, gently bouncing Holly and cooing to her quietly.

"Where is Holly going to be living?" Nate asked, opening the car door so Vanessa could put the baby in the car seat.

"I can't stand him either," Klaus nodded.
