"Fleet, Fleet, sshh," April soothed with a frown, moving behind him to rubbing his back in circular motions to try and calm him down. "Shush, shush…. I know it hurts, I know, just breath."

Fleet managed to slow his breathing down after a few more minutes, holding the back of his hand to his mouth.

"There, see, deep breathes." She whispered, grabbing his arm gently and lifting him to his feet. "Lets go downstairs, Fleet, get you out of this room so you can calm down."

"How are you so calm about this?" Fleet sounded lost, barely keeping his balance as he stumbled down the corridor with her.

"I'm not calm, not at all… I feel like someone has ran my heart over with a bus and then reversed over to it and thrown it to wild dogs to eat or whatever's worse than that but when I freak out I snap and I've already snapped at you and it's not fair on you so I'd rather just bottle it up until I'm by myself now." April ranted quietly, keeping him supported as much as she could.

April sat herself down on the sofa beside him, just wrapping her arms around him and rested her head on his gently. "It's okay to cry, Fleet. It's okay. I know it hurts…"

April just cursed quietly and glared at the TV as if it was all the TVs fault.

April was completely silent then.

About a year and a half later, April made a very quick movement of her wrist and allowed the water she had been hoovering above him to drop on his head. "Get up Fleet. It's not morning anymore."
