Karl let out a small laugh at that, "You mean or we're both out. Eri has you wrapped around her finger, Kol, and you know it. Both of you don't let us be together, then we'll both be gone, and you wouldn't want Eri not around would you? Just like I know my mother wouldn't want me not around."

"Your brother and sister by law, Karl. It's not ri-"

"And you and Kol are Uncle and Niece through law." Karl pointed out. "You're being awful hypocritical here."

"She's my kid and I say no." Kol hissed.

"Oh shut up dad." Eri said as she came downstairs, rolling her eyes. "If we're going to go there, I'm technically older than you considering I've spent around a century more than you wandering round whilst you've still been in a box. I'm older than Karl, heck, my son was older than Karl, so don't go playing that card. We're both adults, we can do as we like, and if we can't do it here, then we'll leave."

Kol frowned at that, "You said you had no ki-"

"I lied, to make you feel better, wasn't worth it though." Eri shrugged. "Not the point anyway. If you kick out Karl then I go too."

"This conversation wouldn't even be happening if to both had some sense." Astrid replied sharply, moving her gaze to Karl and hissing, "I thought your father would of raised you better then to do something like this."

Karl narrowed his eyes then, "I'm aware it wasn't your fault you weren't around, mother, as I'm aware you blamed yourself but don't mention him of how he raised me because the fact of matter is he done a lot more for me then you ever did. In bringing me back, even, you dragged me away from family so the least you could do is allow me to be happy here."

"Raised him to do something better than what?! Find someone that makes him happy?! I may not have been a mother for long but that's all I wanted for my boy, say's a lot about you that you don't want it for yours."

"Both of you stop talking to Astrid like that!" Kol hissed. "This relationship, whatever it is, ends now."

Karl just let out a small laugh and shook his head, almost like a rebellious teen he got to his feet, wrapped an arm around Eri's waist and pressing a deep kiss to her lips.

Kol hissed and got up, pulling Karl into a hedlock and going to snap his neck before he remembered he wasn't a vampire, simply hitting him hard enough to knock him out.

Karl winced at that, his eyes sliding closed as he dropped down unconcious.

Astrid had tensed when Kol had gone to snap Karl's neck, relaxing when all he done knock him up. Getting to her feet and walking to him, she rested her hand on Kol's arm gently.

Eri gasped and sat down next to him, checking him over. "When he wakes I'm gone dad! Gone!"

"It's not too hard for the both of you to just not be together, to end whatever's going on between you both. You could both stay then." Astrid grumbled.

"Why should we?! Were adults and there's nothing wrong with out relationship!"

"Like you heard me say to Karl there is, there is." She replied but didn't say anything more than that.

"If I'm his sister then you're Kols neice!"

Astrid just shook her head and glanced to Kol for help.

Kol just sighed and shook his head. "She has a point." He admotted grudgingly.

Astrid let out a deep sigh and went silent, lost for words now.

"You're lucky I didn't snap his bloody neck." Kol grumbled.

"You're lucky you didn't, he's my son. He'd be dead if you would of snapped his neck."Astrid grumbled quietly before muttering, "It's fine with me if they both leave… we both agree that we don't want to see them together but we can't make them finish with each other because of us, so… I suppose letting them leave is the only option."

"You forget I'm an Original sweetheart. I can compel him when he wakes up to keep his hand off my daughter."

"You wouldn't," Eri hissed.

"If you do that make him forget his feelings for her too, make him forget you've compelled him and compel her to forget her feelings towards him aswell." Astrid whispered with a sigh, obviously not overly happy about Kol wanting to compel Karl but settling for that as a compromise.

"Daddy, please, don't." Eri whispered.

Kol sighed and got up walking towards her.

She watched quietly, crouching down next to Karl and patting the side of his face to try and wake him faster.

Kol softened at that, sighing a little and looking to Astrid.

"It'll be pointless compelling him if she still has feelings for it, it'll happen all over again. I'm not letting it be one way, Kol, either you compel both of them and we keep them or neither and we let them go."

Kol just looked between them, clearly torn.

((Oo what shall he do?))

"You know it'll tear you apart if she leaves, sweetie, just like it'll tear me apart if Karl goes. They'll never know it happened, you - we - wouldn't have to feel guilty." Astrid soothed softly. "I can't lose him, pretty boy, not when I've only just got him back. I can't see you plummet again the way you did when Eri was trying to leave."
