"Maybe, just maybe, after god knows how long on the other side he's changed." Kol pointed out. "You should give him a chance."

She nodded moving over so that he could get up.

Saffron was up in her room thing a ribbon up into her hair.

Karl just sighed and shook his head after a moments thought, getting to his feet and offering Eri a hand up. "Come on, let's go."

Malvolio knocked on the door before entering, "Need any help?"

Eri took his hand and stood up silently.

"Daddy! This ribbon is broken it won't stay in my hair..." She whined as soon as he entered the door. "And I need it, it matched my clothes!"

Karl just headed out silently then.

Astrid waited until she heard the door close before asking Kol quietly, "Uh…. Are you coming with me or am I going by myself? Witch is doing the spell in about ten minutes, I think, so I need to head off."

"Let me try and fix it for you, hm?" Malvolio asked, sitting down and patting his lap for her.

Nodding her head she climbed up onto his lap the ribbon tangled in her hair from where she had tried tie it.

"If you want me to come then I will."

Eri walked silently with him.

"I don't mind, Kol," Astrid replied quietly, "You don't have to if you don't want to, I kind of understand that no one at all wants to."

Karl walked alongside her.

Malvolio took the ribbon out before tying it correctly.

"I'll come with you," Kol whispered, "You're not doing this on your own."

"If she brings him back you're probably gonna have to meet him sometime, wont you?" Eri mused with a frown.

"Probably,"

Astrid gave him a smile at that, reaching her hand up to rest on his cheek. Pressing her lips to his before whispering, "Thank you. I love you."

"You just gonna try and avoid him then?"

"Love you too Asa."

Karl nodded.

Astrid smiled before turning and heading out of the house, grabbing the keys as she did so and getting into the car.

Kol got into the car too,

Eri just nodded at that, opening the door to their room and flopping down on the bed.

Karl laid down beside her and wrapped an arm around her waist.

Astrid drove off then. About ten minutes later, after having spoken to the witch, entered the back room where the spell had happened and the witch had said Adam would first appear.

"Do you ever miss your dad?" Eri whispered quietly, resting her head on his chest.

Kol sat and waited with her and took her hand.

"Sometimes, and when it is those times and mum acts as if he never existed and is all over your dad it annoys me too but it doesn't effect me that much. People die, it happens,"

Astrid leant into Kol, kissing the side of his cheek and asking quietly, "Should I ask him about him coming back, or not…. None of them really reacted well to even listening to him."

"Do what you want. Just... there are only so many ways you can bring someone back, remember that."

"You'd think your mum'd be a bit more sensitive to it too, considering your grandma does that with my Uncle Klaus."

Saffron smiled brightly hopping down from he lap and fixing her clothes. "Thank you daddy."

"Blinded by love and all that nonesense," Karl replied with a small shrug.

Astrid just sighed softly and gave a small nod before turning her attention onto the middle of the room.

"It's fine," Malvolio smiled.

"Mm..." Eri whispered, going quiet then, something else taking over her mind.

Kol wrapped an arm around her.

"Daddy? Some of the kids at school keep asking how come I don't eat lunch when they do...what should I tell them? I keep saying I'm not hungry..."

Malvolio frowned, whispering, "We'll make you a lunch to day, from now on, eat it even though you don't have to. It won't make you ill or anything like that, and it'll fool them."

Karl glanced to her, studying her silently before asking, "Do you miss your mum, ever?"

Astrid leant into him as she waited.

"I miss my sons more. My sons never gave me up to marry someone who didn't like me, my sons never told people I was dead because they were ashamed I was a bastard." Eri mumbled.

After a few more minutes, Adam silently came into view. "Astrid?"

Astrid moved from Kol's arms then, walking to her father and wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. Whispering a quiet, "Hi daddy,"
