"Either you do something or I will." Feferi groped across the bed looking for her phone, obviously intent on calling someone.

Feferi tucked onto her side and dialled a number in silently, holding the phone to her ear. "Hey Lachesis. Is Atropos there?"

"Did you hear what happened...?"

"I did." Atropos had suddenly appeared sat on the end of the bed. "Do you really have so much of a problem that you go out hunting for other men? Disgusting. What do you expect me to do?"

Feferi lowered the phone and curled up tighter. Atropos moved to grip Feferi's shoulder and she gasped in pain all of a sudden, Atropos burning a handprint into her skin. "Don't you know what exclusive means? It means one person. It means you stick to a relationship and don't make a colossal screw up by fucking everything with a Y chromosome."

"You get some satisfaction from acting like a whore? You want me to give you something to waste your time with if you aren't putting in the effort to be faithful?" Atropos twisted her hand and Feferi started stifling sobs into her fist at the pain.

Atropos shoved him off and stood, dusting her hands on her thighs. "It was what she was asking for. Nobody here was able to do what she wanted because you're all so squeamish. Who do you think helped her the first time this happened, or the second, or every other time after that?"

"So can you hurt her? Tell her off until she thinks it's less of a mistake? Because until you tell her what to do to make it better she'll get worse and worse. I don't want to have to put in effort to pick up the pieces if she tries to kill herself."

"I'll take her with me. She won't fix herself."

"I asked her," Feferi looked to the side, hurt shoulder hunched in pain. "Because you two don't want anything to do with me while I'm like this. At least she can speak the truth."

"You seemed like you were in a hurry to leave after you knew." Feferi dug her fingers absently against her shoulder. "I'm used to getting punished. It hasn't happened properly yet."

"Well, I don't mind you lashing out. Rather I'd get hurt for what I've done."

"I wouldn't blame him if he thought it was my fault. I just..." Feferi shrugged weakly and rubbed her shoulder.

"My life as a strumpet?" Feferi gave a sarcastic laugh before she could help herself. "Don't you mean Atropos' unwilling 'whore-for-hire'? You think I wanted this? It was either her, death or Apollo. So, sex with disgusting strangers, stripped of my life, or eternal torture. Either way, I'd be as fucked up as I am now, so I don't think you have any right to tell me about how I led my sham of a life. The pain just makes me think better. It doesn't have to be bad, I don't have to lose a limb or have someone stab me. What Atropos does is all in my mind. I'm not injured, just think I am, and it gets me back in the zone. If you or Piattro can't handle that, I suppose I'd have to leave to make you both happy, huh? Before I fuck something else up."

"He's not going to agree with me, even if it hurts him. So it's better not to involve him in thi - " Feferi flinched and suddenly pressed a hand to her side, doubling over in pain.
