"Why couldn't she have had both of them? What does the universe have against her they won't allow her one moment of untainted happiness?!"

Astrid just nodded subtly, "It would just be lovely if people now wouldn't judge him on his past, he only acted how he was taught to behave and I know that's no excuse for what he done but.. Klaus done awful things, things more awful than simply beating someone and in the eyes of them all he's an angel." after a few moments she whispered, "I understand you with your dad, it's like no matter what they've done.. they're still a huge part of you, right?"

"It's just testing her, Vanessa, that's all. She'll become better, a stronger person with the more tests she gets through." Leon whispered, "She just needs to learn to see the happiness in the bad, you need to help her with that."

Jeremy nodded when he glanced to her, whispering softly, "I need to thank you though, you done amazingly. I love you, you're beautiful and you done amazingly and I'm proud of you."

"Perhaps when you tell me a little bit about yourself you will have, currently no though." Alfdis smirked.
