Us and Them

Raising his hand up she pressed a kiss to his knuckles.

He smiled slightly, using his free hand to pull her closer.

She moved closer against his side as they walked.

He kissed the top of her had as they walked.

She slid her arm around his waist leaning lightly into him as they walked.

He kept walking with her.

She smiled just walking with no real place set in mind.

He kept walking.

She walked along with him.

He soon stopped when they got to thebeach.

She looked around at where they were and who was a round.

The beach was more or less empty since it was getting late.

"It's different here at night. Quiet and so peaceful."

"It is." He smiled. "You know, since you ask if I wanted anymore kids, all I've been able to think about it us and our own family, walking along the beach, doing normal family things."

She stopped walking to look at him. "That was before...before I knew what happened."

"If you don't want kids with me then I understand." He told her. "I just thought that you should know."

Jaylin blinked up at him. "Wha-what? When did I ever say that?"

"That's where this sounded like it was going."

"No! I-you..." She started then stopped shaking her head as if to clear her thoughts. "Hunter. I love you. More then you can ever imagine, I always have probably since the first day I saw you when I was only a small girl. I let you turn me, teach me everything I know, and you've been my first everything. You make me happier then I've every thought I could be, of course I want to have a family with you. I just didn't think you wanted to..."

He looked at her. "At first I was unsure." He admitted. "But I talked to Esmerelda, and she made me realise that I can't live every time being haunted by the past, otherwise we wouldn't have a future." He looked at her. "So, I've allowed myself to consider the option and truthfully, the more I thought about it, the more I wanted it to happen."

She nodded with clear understanding her hand slipping gently into one of his. "Just knowing that you're considering it is enough for me Hunt. This isn't something that has to happen now or anytime soon if you're not ready. We can take as long as we need to."

He gently dqueezed her hand. "Let's just carry on as normal." He suggested. "After all, we aren't exactly using protection, so if it happens sooner, then it happens sooner, if not then it doesn't." He shrugged.

She nodded in agreement to that. "I know."

He smiled slightly. "I love you, you know." He told her with a soft smile.
