Laney laughed softly. "Well that's good for me then, right? That gives you more time to hangout with me."

"Hmm, only if you suggest something to do that is better than me going home and napping."

"We can go swimming?"

"Swimming... Yeah, ok?"

"In the not so deep... away from anything dangerous, water" she nodded.

"Mm, okay," Apollo answered gently. "Thats ok. What happeened to you, hm? To make you so scared of everthing?"

She looked over at him. "Nothing, why?"

"Theres got to be some reason,"

She shrugged. "Not that I know of. I've just always been afraid... some things much worse than others."

"Yeah, what are the worse ones?"

"Heights, water, blood.."

"Heights I get," He whispered. "Heights and spiders for me."

"Spiders.. nothing should have that many legs."

"Centipedes and stuff are weird too." He shuddered

She giggled. "This is why we get along."

"Mm," He hummed in agreement.

She got to her feet. "Swimming?"

Apollo nodded, getting to his feet.

(( She could get brought away by the tide, hit her head and nearly drown but he can save her ))

Apollo walked towards a deeper part of the river tp kick off his shoes and pull his top off before diving in.

(All the more reason for her to be scared of everything! Lol)

Delaney sat down on the embankment, tugging off her sneakers.

Apollo surfaced and treaded water as he waited.

She slowly made her way into a more shallow area of water.

He swam over to her, offering her his hand. "Come on, I've got you."

She shook her head. "I-.. I like it over here."
