She smiled warmly at him.

"Your parents should be back really soon?"

"Good, the sooner the better right?"

She went to glance out the window.

He watched her.

She sighed and walked back to him when she didn't say anything.

He slid his arms around her.

Michelle leaned into him.

Laura went to check on the children.

He held her close.

Caleb remained outside.

After checking the children she went outside to join him.

By the time she can easily back, Elijah had brought enough dead humans for them all.

Laura was focused on her husband and child first as well as Eric.

Eric was lying on the sofa watching the ceiling as Angel and Alexander were sitting Von the floor beside him.

"Come on everyone. Drink up and then we all shoulder get some rest. Eric, how're you feeling?"

"Like I've been hit by a truck." Eric told her.

"You might have been, it's a bit hazy until we get to the cells." Christian told him as he sat him up.

She frowned deeply sitting on the other side of him. "Does anyone remember much of anything that happened?"

Most of them shook their heads except for Alexander.

Laura picked up her cradling him. "What do you remember sweetheart?"

"I remember a bit." He whispered.

"Like what?" She smoothed his hair sitting down with him.

He told her s few things that had obviously caused him pain.

Laura frowned deeply holding him closer and rocking him gently.

Alexander snuggled close to his mum as Angel stayed close to her dad.

She held him close singing to him.
