The more she sang the more he settled.

She continued singing to her son until he was calm hoping that just maybe he would nap.

Michelle remained close to Christian resting her head on his shoulder.

Marie had went into the kitchen to make some hot herbal teas while everyone else drank the fresh blood they needed.

Christian held her close.

Alexander ended up falling asleep against his mother.

Elijah watched them before he joined her in the kitchen and he slid his arms around her from behind.

"Want some tea?" She whispered leaning against him.

She rocked her son gently settling back into the chair.

"I love you..." she whispered softly.

"That would be nice." He told her, kissing her head.

Alexander lay against her as Caleb walked over and slid his arms around her.

"I love you too."

Marie made several cups of hot tea. "Alright."

She smiled softly leaning against him.

"I know," she whispered softly.

Elijah pressed gentle kisses to her neck, aiming to be affectionate.

Caleb kissed her head.

He smiled softly.

She hummed softly leaning against him more.

She smiled.

Michelle smiled back.

He smiled softly.

He held her close.

Elijah smiled to himself.

Marie smiled handing him a mug of tea and bringing a tray of tea into the other room for the others.

Laura cradled her sleeping son and leaned against her husband.

Michelle rested her head on his shoulder.

Caleb held her close looking over at Marie as she brought the drinks in.

Elijah carried his own into the room.

He held her close.

"Hot herbal tea if anyone wants any."

Laura nodded taking a mug carefully.

Michelle was happy leaning against him.

Caleb took his son so that she could drink her tea.

Elijah leant in the doorway watching his family.

He used magic to bring two cups of tea to them as Eric and Angel got their own.

She smiled taking a seat. "Eli, come and sit."

She sipped her tea. "We need to figure out what we're going to do still."

Michelle smiled taking the cup.

"How so?" Eric asked, looking at them.

"We can't just let them get away with what they did." Elijah told them. "First it's us and then it could be the encampment."

"You don't seriously think that they would attack the encampment though do you?" Caleb asked, being quiet because of his sleeping son. "I mean, there's no way they could take out all of the 70 odd vampires there."

Christian watched them. "No, but they could take out the leaders, and if they're dead, dad is the only leader left, he'd have to take over."

"We need to warn them. Have a meeting or something and let them know what's happened?"

Marie nodded. "I don't think we should separate at all for awhile at least. Safer together."

Michelle leaned into him. "Would your dad taking over be a bad thing?"

"He wouldn't be able to see mum, or us, or anyone, he's have to focus on looking after everyone in the encampment." Christian explained.

"We should go now, while we have time." Eric told them getting to his feet, though he was still a bit unsteady and Angel rushed to grab her brother to stop him falling over.

"You aren't go." Elijah told him immediately even before he stood up. "You aren't strong enough."

"I agree with Marie though, we need to stay together." Caleb told them.

Michelle frowned deeply. "Oh my... we should go then. The sooner the better."

Laura and Marie looked at everyone. "Eric you can hardly stand. We can't split up though. Eric will you stick close to Christian, Angel and Michelle?"

Eric nodded reluctantly. "Fine."

Elijah and Caleb grabbed their jackets and they looked at them. "Let's go."

They all got up and got their coats, Laura giving Eric his. Michelle keeping to one side of Eric in case he got wobbly.

Christian helped Angel with hers before he stood on the other side of Eric and Angel stood beside Michelle before they all followed Elijah and Caleb, the group only walking to make sure that Eric could handle it.

Marie was up front with Elijah.

Laura kept to the back of the group holding her son again.

Michelle kept her pace even and slow for Eric.

Elijah slid an arm around her and when they got to the encampment they found things to be functioning normally.

"It looks alright....She didn't know about this place I'm guessing." Caleb spoke as he walked on the other side of his brother.

"I hope not." Elijah told him, looking back to make sure that the children and Laura were alright.

She slid an arm around his waist. "Eric did you tell her about this?" She asked needing to make sure.

"We're fine back here Elijah don't worry. "

He shook his head. "No."

Elijah nodded and he walked towards the leaders tent.
