Creatures of the Dark

Rylee was checking things out.

Max stayed in his room watching the ceiling.

At sometime very early in the morning she made her way to his room and very quietly tapped at his door.

Max got up and walked to his door, pulling it open. "Hey."

"Hi..." she whispered softly looking at the floor. "I...did I wake you?"

He shook his head. "No, I've been awake for a while."

"O-oh... me too..."

"Wanna come in for company?" He asked, holding the door open for her.

She nodded a little bit.

He moved aside to let her in, and his movements were a lot slower than normal.

She stepped inside but watched him. "Are...you alright?"

"Yeah, it's zombie life, we are naturally slow."

She shook her head. "Not... "she frowned. "You're slower then usual."

"It's only because I've been asleep, don't worry Alice will fix it in the morning." He told her.

"Alice?.." she whispered softly sounding very confused.

"Alice the female dark angel."

"How would she help?"

"IM not entirely sure what she does but it helps."

She nodded slowly looking around the room.

He watched her, his room was quite bare, only a bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, with a small picture frame on the window.

She had been in here before but looking around was still habit for her.

He watched her as he sat back on his bed.

She eventually came over to sit beside him.

He sat with her.

Rylee was once again very quiet not sure what to say to him.
