Across Seas - Remade

She looked at him. "I was trying to give you a compliement somewhere in there." She told him. "I love your romantic stuff, you know that, so keep doing that." She soon turned serious. "But seriously, I love you, no other, you don't have anything to worry about."

(Finally got photos to work! LOL)

She eyed Cyrus for a quiet second, take note of his tone. "If I'm bothering you I can continue on my way," she whispered softly turning her attention back to the water. It would be nice to get to know some of the people here on the ship but it didn't have to be this very minute.

Daxton could hear someone close to him and knew the moment they spoke that it wasn't Kelsey. Glancing towards the women he gave a small incline of his head in greeting.

"Are you new on the ship, as well?" Alisha asked curiously.

"I'm new on here too..." Caitlin whispered, "You're name is Daxton, isnt it? I'm Caitlin... Cat is easier to say though so, think of me however you want... What you looking at?"

"No, it's fine. I'm just looking out for sirens, that's all."

"Mm." Luke hummed doubtfully, mumbling, "Just keep catching people looking at you."

Kelsey smiled softly, mostly to herself but the smile was there. "Sirens? Are they really out there?," she asked lightly bouncing on the heels of her feet and peering out over the water.

Without taking his eyes off the water he gave the smallest nod of his head in reply. "To much water..." came his muttered almost annoyed, slightly frustrated reply.

"Well, it's the ocean.. There is going to be water." Caitlin whispered with a frown, sitting herself down next to him. "What dont you like about it?"

"I thought they were just myth but I was talking to the captain and she said they'd seen them before so unless I'm being lied to then, yeah, they exist."

"Yeah but Amora and I go back a while." Gabrielle smiled. "What about you?"

Amora looked at him and she moved to let one of the other sailors take the wheel as she rested a hand on his cheek. "But know that you are the one who has me." She told him. "Let them look because they can only imagine whilst you have the real thing."

"No where to go..." he replied simply like it was supposed to be the most obvious answer.

"Being the captain I'd like to think she wouldn't lie. Do you think we'll come across them then?"

Alisha nodded slowly. "Oh, so you're friends with the captain then? Yeah, I needed a change."

"They shouldnt even be imagining..." He mumbled, leaning down to press his forehead against hers.

"I dont know," Cyrus whispered, "I hope so, it's the main reason I got onto this ship."

"Ah... I didnt have anywhere to go either."

"Yeah we sailed together on her fathers ship many years ago." She told her with a shrug. "Are you from the island we docked at?"

"I know but unfortunately I can't control that." She told him pressing her forehead against his.

"Mmm." He mumbled, closing his eyes

She smiled softly pressing a kiss to his lips gently.

Daxton had meant being in the middle of the ocean on a ship gave him nowhere to go, noway to escape if he felt he needed to but he didn't voice that. Right now he'd let the women think what she liked. So he simply nodded his head once again glancing over his shoulder briefly before his eyes turned back onto the water.

"You boarded a ship...in hopes of being able to see a Siren..." she asked softly casting a sideways look at Cyrus. "Why?"

"No, we traveled a bit first. Getting on this ship seemed like the right thing to do at the moment."

"Just heard a lot about them, didnt know if it was lies or not... Wanted to see it with my own eyes."

"You're awfully quiet." Caitlin whispered.

Luke kissed her back deeply.

Kelsey nodded her head slowly. "Fair enough reason."

"Not much to say.." he shrugged leaning against the wall.

"Fair enough."

Amora matched her kiss to his.

"Mm... Whats your name?"

"There is.. If we're going to be on this ship together, getting to know each other would be useful, right?"

Luke lifted her up.

She smiled slightly sliding her arms around his neck.

She nodded. "So you've traveled a lot then?"

Dax let out a slow breath. "I suppose."

"Kelsey, what's yours?"

"Love you." luke hummed against her lips.

"Not really, I've lived on that island for about ten years." She shrugged.

Amora smiled. "Love you too."

Luke lifted her up so she was sat on the edge of the ship, humming playfully. "I could push you overboard."

She looked at him, her legs wrapping around his waist. "And I could take you with me." She told him with a soft smile. "I hope you can still swim."

"You know I can swim," Luke hummed with a laugh.

She smiled. "Well you might have forgotten." She told him playfully, sliding her arms around his neck.

"Lets never float in the middle of the ocean on a board of wood ever again." He laughed, "It wasn't pleasant. Better than land, I suppose, but still not very pleasant."
