Creatures of the Dark

She smiled back, looking to him.

"Thank you for letting me be here..." he whispered to her.

"It was not within my right to stop you." She told him. "She needed to know her father, and you're still one of us even if your wings are white."

"My wings mean nothing to me... I would give them up if it meant the two of you would be safe from harm."

"And that's as likely as the next apocalypse." She told him. "Frankie, this is all out of hand, you have Lily and another child to think about now."

"I know that and as their father I want to be where they are but that's impossible... Lily is here... you're here." He sighed knowing already he wanted to be where they are but also a part of him wanted to be where his other baby was also.

"Maybe it's workable." ALice told him. "Maybe you should wait until your other baby is born before you come down to us." She offered.

"And what about that baby... there's noway they'll allow me to bring the baby with me."

"I think they will, if we gave them persuasion, maybe I can send one of the others with you."

"Maybe. I really don't know but it's worth the try I guess..."

She nodded.

Frankie nodded. "We can discuss it with all the others later on."

She nodded.

Frankie turned his attention back to the baby in his arms.

She watched her daughter.

He was talking to her in a quiet whisper explaining how much he loved her and would always do everything to protect her.

Lily was watching him, almost like she understood him.

He stroked her cheeks with his finger as he spoke to her.

Lily reached and rested her hand against the one brushing her cheek.

Frankie grinned widely.

Alice smiled watching them.

Lily snuggled into her hand.

Frankie held her close.

Lily stayed close.

"What does she eat?" he asked glancing over at Alice.

"She is still on milk at the moment."
