Remy didn't seem at all pleased with the boys he was talking with a few of the kids raising their voices.

Kayla was coming down the hall as they started raising their voices, and she tried to get past their group without being noticed.

Jeanna smiled. "I wouldn't want to slow you down."

The cause of the raised voiced seemed to be aimed at Remy so chances were good that Kayla shouldn't have a problem.

"Ah, what makes you think we would mind that?"

Kayla walked into their next class, pulling Pip out from her jacket where he had squeezed in.

"Do you think Remy is okay?" Pip asked.

Kayla nodded. "He seems pretty capable of handling himself."

"You two are probably used to a fast pace." She shrugged.

Zephyr shrugged. "Usually but that doesn't mean we can't change things up once in awhile."

Remy held his own pretty well the group being broken up by one of the teachers passing by.

Kayla watched the door waiting.

Jeanna smiled.

A few minutes later, Remy walked into the Remy slumping down into an empty chair, Comm laying down right beside him.

He smiled back.

Kayla looked at him. "Hey you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm good. Are you okay?"

She nodded. "Just a bit...concerned...about you...didn't, um, didn't want you hurt back there." She told him, a soft blush forming on her cheeks.

Remy smirked just a tiny bit as he listened to her. "Oh, yeah? How come?"

She shrugged, blushing. "Well, um, you're the only friend I've got..."

He nodded slowly. "Oh."

She watched the table.

Remy grinned getting up and moving to sit in the chair beside her.

She looked up at him.

"Those guys... they aren't any real friends worth having..." he told her after being quiet for a few moments.

She looked at him. "Do you wanna tell me what's happened?"

"There's not much worth telling. They think they're better than everyone else."

"Well...Some of them ade., I guess in certain aspects."

Remy rolled his eyes in response to that.

She looked at him. "But, you're better than all of them by far." She concluded.

"Oh? And why would you think that?"

"Because I think you're awesome." She told him.

He grinned at that.
