She looked to her homework.

He went home.

She pushed her homework away and she lay on her bed, she was thinking about the kiss.

He showered, had a snack and went to bed trying not to focus on things.

She eventually got showered and went to bed.

Remy walked to her front door ringing the bell, all dressed up in his suit for the dance.

Jeanna was the one who answered it and she smiled in welcome. "Hello Remy, Kayla is just upstairs, she will be down soon." She told him. "Please, come on in." She moved aside to let him in.

"Hello, Jeanna, she isn't nervous, is she?" he questioned stepping inside the house. Hudson his young lion Daemon was right at his side sporting a bow tie that matched Remy's dress shirt.

Jeanna gently stroked the Daemon as she closed the door. "She is a bit, she only had her surgery three weeks ago." She reminded him as she walked to the stairs. "Kayla, hurry up."

He nodded in understanding. "I know but she'll be alright. I'll be right there with her all night."

"Thank you for this, not a lot of boys this age would help her through this." Jeanna told him and she looked to the stairs as she heard her sister.

Kayla was wearing a dress that matched Remy's colours, her hair was done to the side so it hung over her shoulder, and the dress made her look stunning. Pip was at her side, wearing a cute bowtie, the same colour as the dress.

Remy shrugged. "I'm not most boys. Kayla is amazing, truly," he told Jeanna honestly his blue eyes shifting onto Kayla as she made her way down the steps. "Wow..."

Jeanna looked between them and she smiled. Kayla blushed as she saw remy.

"You look beautiful," he whispered walking over to her and holding out his hand.

Kayla blushed more but she put her hand into his.

He smiled at her. "Ready to go?"

She nodded. "Yep."

He took her arm leading her outside.

She went with him.

Jeanna watched them and when they were gone, she shut the door before she sent a text to zephyr asking if he wanted to come over.

"My mom is on the corner and willing to drive us... but I was thinking maybe you would like to walk there?"

Zephyr replied to the text within a few moments letting he know he wasn't to far away and only just in town that he could be over in a little bit.

Jeanna smiled, sitting herself down on the sofa, Kai sat next to her, curled up on his pillow.

Kayla nodded. "A walk would be nice."
