She stayed as close as he wanted her to.

When the song came to an end he let her go.

She smiled and she walked to where she had left her bag since everyone else were leaving.

He followed her, his hand resting lightly on the small of her back.

She looked to him and she was about to say something when one of his friends walked over and slid an arm around him and started to drag him over to their group, telling him about a party that they were going to and why he should go with them.

Remy shook the arm off of him. "Nah, I'm good. I have somewhere else to be," he smiled at her.

She smiled softly.

"Where else is more fun than hanging out with your best friends?"

He scoffed. "Best friends would invite my date along and not act like a bunch of asses."

"Date?" He demanded. "Dude the cripple is so beneath you."

Remy turned his back on the guys right than leading her away without another word.

She walked away with him, she had obviously heard, but she kept quiet for him.

"Don't mind them. They know nothing."

She nodded.

"I like being with you. They're the ones truly losing out."

She nodded. "I understand."

"You do?"

She nodded. "I like being with you."

Remy smiled at her. "I like being with you too."

She smiled.

He slid his arm around her as they walked outside.

She walked with him leaning into him.

He smiled at this.

She smiled at seeing him smile.

He kept his smile.

She kissed his cheek.
