She gave him a soft smile looking around at everyone. "I'm sure you all likely know why I asked Marcus to call everyone together..."

"We don't actually know why, everything was going well." Caleb told them.

She crinkled up her nose a little bit. "Well the ones that were here and heard our talk know... and I know most of you aren't very happy about my decision but it's mine to make..."

"We haven't got a need to tell you otherwise." Elijah told her. "You've lived with Marcus long enough, you know how he lives, if you feel that you can manage that then you have our blessing."

Genevieve looked at Elijah and nodded. "I truly, truly appreciate that but I would like your opinions..." her gaze shifted slightly to look at each of them.

"We just want Marcus happy."

Her eyes feel on Sophia as she was like another sister to her, having traveled with her and Marcus all this time.

Sophia looked at her. "You know my thoughts and wishes little dove."

She simply nodded now.

He smiled back.

She moved closer to Marcus to show she wasn't going anywhere.

He smiled softly.

She had made her decision, she wanted to be with him.

He pressed a gentle kiss to her head.

She lifted her head to look at him, her small hand finding it's way into his.

He slid his fingers between hers.

She held his hand firmly but gently, shifting her weight to also lean against him. "I know this is going to be no easy road for Marcus, for myself or for any of you but I know what I'm getting myself into. I know how I feel and now that I know Marcus feels the same way I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep us together."

"We appreciate that, and you have our families support." Elijah told her.

"Now before we all get serious, let us all celebrate with a well placed hunt." Caleb told them.

Marie and Laura both smiled warmly nodding in agreement with Caleb. "Shall we hunt in groups? The usual groups or mix it up?"

Genevieve nodded leaning against Marcus.

"We can all go together," Caleb told them.

The ladies both nodded in agreement. "Lets do this then. And I want everyone to stick together, keep the kids in the center as we always do," Marie spoke up looking at them all.

"You worry too much my darling.' Elijah told her.

"I have reason to worry, Eli. Look at our family, how it keeps growing. I never want anything to happen to them."

"My darling, with more growth comes more strength, soon not even the elders will be able to touch us." Elijah told her quietly. "Then we will be able to live in peace."

"Yes but you know as well as I do that there's always danger," she whispered glancing at Marcus as if to prove her point.
