Marie looked at him and shook her head. "Don't listen in on them... let her tell him what she needs to without all of us being in their business," she whispered.

"Marcus... you have to be okay... whatever happens when you wake up we can deal with. Just so you're okay... I can't loss you..."

"It's hard not to hear." He reminded her. "But I will try my best."

Marcus stirred as she spoke but he didn't fully wake up.

"I know, I know... but this is between them. You can see it when they look at one another, Eli."

"Please, please just be okay... even if I have to leave for awhile because you can't be around me at first. I'll do whatever needs to be done just so you're alright."

His hand found hers and he gave it a gentle squeeze.

Elijah slid his arms around her.

Genevieve let out a breath when his hand took hold of hers, gently grasping it with her own. "Marcus..."

She leaned into him heavily.

He held her close to him.

Marcus gave a soft murmer to show that he was there.

Genevieve smiled instantly shifting to lay beside him, still gripping his hand.

He rested his head against hers.

"I'm sorry... I should've helped you somehow..."

"It's not...your fault..."

She sighed. "I'm glad you're okay..."

He smiled weakly. "Stupid werewolf couldn't keep me down " he murmered.

"Good... but... what happens now?"

"What do you mean?"

"With you... will you be okay?"

"Yeah...Just need to heal...Don't know how long that'll take."

"And you're not going to try to eat me?" she grinned at him a little bit.

"Well if you're offering." He told her, a playful tone but with a hint of seriousness.

She looked at him. "Then you would be lonely with your little dove."

"Don't you trust me?" He asked her playfully.

"You know that I do."

He smiled slightly, before he held an arm out to her. "Just like when you first joined."

She moved closer to lay beside him snuggling closer. "Mhmm."

He smiled softly holding her close.

"You feel the same about me, don't you?" she whispered after a few minutes of silence.
