She nodded, eating quietly then.

Persephone glanced up to watch everyone quietly.

Dallas smiled lightly at her.

She returned the smile when she caught his gaze, reaching over to have a sip of her drink

He continued to eat.

Laney ate quietly, enjoying the food and wine.

"What do you all think, more herbs?"

"Rosemary," Persephone suggested. "Lots of thyme but not enoufh rosemary."

"I'm not good with cooking.. it either tastes good or it doesn't... " Laney laughed.

Dallas smirked. "Laney could burn water."

"Our mother loved to cook, made sure we knew the difference of herbs and spices. She grew them all, actually." Persephone hummed

"Oh, yeah? That's pretty cool," Dallas hummed.

Laney stuck her tongue out at her brother.

"Everyone has a hobby," Apollo hummed with a shrug.

"What's yours?" Dallas asked.

"Car restoration" Apollo hummed. "I have a garage, got a load of old classics stored there. I fix them, put some mural on their body work to make them stand out."

"He inheritsted ut from our father," Persephone whispered. "Its all the two of them used to do."

"Sounds pretty cool honestly," Dallas hummed as he ate.

"I didn't know you were into cars," Laney whispered, glancing at Apollo.

"We've never spoken about cars before," Apollo answered with a small shrug, before humming to Dallas; "We can go out there tomorrow, if you like, I can show you."

Persephone tensed at that, not liking the idea of the boys going somewhere alone, nor liking the idea of being stuck in the house with Delaney alone.

"Yeah? Okay, sure." He agreed wondering if maybe, just maybe this was the start of a possible friendship?

Delaney giggle. "True."

"Great!" Apollo answered cheerily, having a sip of his drink.

Persephone kicked Dallas underneath the table, glaring at him.

He winced slightly, looking at her.

"Have you two not got any hobbies? Other than watching fish." He hummed, grinning over at Delaney.

"Climbing," Dallas laughed with a shrug.

Delaney giggled nearly spitting out her drink.

"Yours maybe," Apollo hummed to Dallas.

Dallas laughed.

"What's wrong with watching the fish?"

'"I never said there was anything wrong with it,"

"No, no you didn't but I do like to write," she admitted softly.

"Write? What kind of writing?" Apollo asked with a smile.

"Stop the show, Dallas found me - Delaney saw it, they both know who you really are. This nicey nice play makes me feel nauseous." Persephone scoffed after downing the last of her wine glass.

"Excuse you?" Apollo snorted "What Delaney saw was me protecting her from you. You are the threat here, Persephone."

"Lots of st-" she cut off when Persephone butted in, looking between the two with a soft sigh.

Dallas paused his eating, setting his fork down. "Wait a minute. What?"
