"Yes, because the first thing I ever do is doubt my instincts. Have you ever thought that she has been raised with this complex that she has to behave a certain way to be seen as an alpha, and anything that doesnt fit that mould she has to put into a little box. Faun came to me the night Belle hurt her, Andre, and she begged me not to tell anyone how much she was hurting. Pack life is vicious, and unforgiving. Even if she is grieving in her own way, I don't think asking the father of my child to discuss the emotional impact of losing a baby is too much to ask. He and I went though it, Harrison has been through it before too. It is a painful conversation, but it matters. Harrison needs to be reminded that Faun is good at faking it, Koby needs to know how Harrison feels because Harrison is only ever honest with Koby. I am in the middle of all of it, helpless, because people assume what you have of me - that I havent thought it through, or that my instincts are wrong. Koby fell for me for my passion, and fire. You did too. Cope with it whilst I am with you then, trust it whilst I am with you. This pack used to be mine - I may not have been a wolf but I was seen as alpha.
