"Still spiteful." Max hummed with a shrug, "I need to go home, sign lesson for all of us."

"I know right." Koby told him. "I put him in his place just like Faun did wth Noah though."

"Oh... Can I come?"

"Noah puts himself in his place," Harrison hummed, "I have no doubt Elijah is the same. If you think that your actions made them do it, then you've fallen for the act. Give the kid a break, huh? He'll have plenty of alphas to bash heads with but you and Abi... you should be the friendly ones."

"Friendliness is earnt Harrison you know that as well as I." He sighed.

"With alphas we do not know but not with family." Harrison answered, "I don't think there is anything wrong with being cocky, anyway, he is young and he has a lot to prove. All of us begin like that."

"Mm, OK." Max hummed berore getting to his feet and heading to the den.

"Yes but there's being an alpha and then there's we'll Elijah."

Belle followed him.

"Mm, and why can't he be a little bit different? The rules can change, Koby. Look what you, Faun and I organised - two packs had never joined up in an alliance like ours before, now its happening everywhere. He is an alpha, an unorthodox one but one all the same. He deserves to be there as much as anyone else."

Max held the door open and motioned for her to go on ahead.

"And I'm not saying he doesn't." Koby told him.

She walked inside with him.

"Just asking you to be nice, he is family and I am sick of seeing Noah and Rebekah worried and upset all the time." Harrison mumbled, opening another can of lager.

"In here." Aly called through from where she was sat on the sofa.

"Did you speak to the pack about what they're going to do about the 'cure'?"

Harrison shook his head in the negative, "No, no I haven't. All of that is Abi's decision now, and honestly I think she is choosing to ignore it."

Belle followed and she waved.

Aly smiled back. "Hi Belle, didn't know you'd be joining us."

"Mm, you think? I don't know. It would be pretty cool to at least know where something like that was."

Ella watched them closely.

"Yeah, she thought she would join our sign language session - she's strange."

"You know if you don't want to do it Max you don't have to." Aly reminded him.

"I like learning new stuff."

"Do they know the location?" He asked.

"I do have to otherwise it makes our daughters life difficult. We all need to learn a way to communicate with her." Max answered.

"Max and Jeni are getting closer to working it out, I think, but they're still secretive about it all." Harrison shrugged.

"I thought Ella could still here." Belle told them. "So she could hear you speaking to her."

"Well they really need to. Stop being secretive."

"Hearing isn't communicating," Max whispered. "This is something we have to do Aly, it isn't a choice."

Max just sat himself down then, glancing over to Ella. "You ready?"

Ella nodded subtly, glancing over at Belle after a moment.

"Nice time out?" Peyton hummed softly when she saw Geo walk in.

"Mhm, got a new book." Geo hummed in confirmation. "I uh... is there a way you would both let me go to a normal school? I know I'd have to be careful but... I don't know. Just feel isolated."

He nodded. "Yeah guess so."

Abdre was making them some drinks as he looked up. "Geo we have already spoken about this."

"Belle managed to just... find a friend. I'm not so... charismatic. Please. It's lonely, I'm lonely." Geo whined. "Why do I have to live my life through books and not through actually living it!?"

"It is safer for you and Belle to learn as you are, you'll find yourself friends eventually."

Ella flinched away from her mothers touch before focusing on practicing sign with them all.

Aly sighed softly before she started to learn with her.

"I think I am starting to come around to the idea of another kid, adopting though, not my own." Harrison whispered. "Don't tell Faun, I'm still... self-assessing the whole situation."

"Fine, I'll be reading in the attic." Geo whispered before heading up the stairs.

"I wasn't expecting that today." Peyton mused.

I'm done. Ella signed after a couple of hours of struggling, getting to her feet and leaving the room.

"You done well today, L," Max called after her quietly.

"What puts you off the idea of having kids of your own?" Koby asked him.
