"No letter yet," Madoc hummed, "One is due this week though so, I'll tell you when I know the exact dates. I am due a long stint away though, I've been too lucky recently."

Harrisom just raised an eyebrow at him. "Mm. Doesn't not knowing drive you crazy though?"

"Not really, I know she can look after herself."He shrugged." And I made a mistake of trying to look after a woman before remember. "

" Why don't you ask to go to school? "

" Well yeah I know that, and I wouldn't come alone I'd probably ask my friend to come with me and stay sometimes. "

"Oh, I uh, I don't think they would agree to it. My family situation is... complicated. It makes school a little bit awkward."

"Your friend?" Max asked with a raised eyebrow. "You didn't this bring this friend along with you on this trip?"

"It depends when I have to go, if its a winter wedding we want." He pointed out quietly, smoothing her hair back gently.

"There is a difference between looking after and knowing the professional stuff. It'd be like me missing an alpha meeting and not asking Faun what went on. I mean, Lorelai shows a interest in your alpha life right? If she doesn't, she should."

"She is oaky with me being alpha but she doesn't ask me about it." He told him.

"Well we could always have a small ceremony before you go, and then when you come back do it properly."

"We do," Madoc hummed, before pressing a deep kiss to her lips.

"Mm, weird," Harrison mused, having a couple of sips of his drink.

"You'd want to?" Geo mused with an eyebrow. "Thats very.. trusting."

She kissed him back just as deeply.

"We are." She promised. "Max, do you think you and Aly will have another baby?"

He shrugged. "Well never said I was normal." He told him playfully.

She shrugged.

"We've never had one. Ella isn't mine, I mean... she is but, you know what I mean." Max whispered, "I've missed out on debating who the baby looks like more. As for if we ever will have one, I was going to bring it up but then Ella went missing and now she is going through a lot. Its always been complicated, I dont want her to feel like I love her any less."

"Who on earth is these days?" He chuckled, opening another can. "You though, are the best thing to ever happen to me. Without you I wouldn't have my wife, my daughter. Without you I wouldnt know what a father should look like, and importantly, I wouldnt have a friend."

"Aye, you didn't add friend on the end. I am offended." He chuckled lightly.

"So, other than being smart, pretty and liking books.. what else is there to you?" He hummed.

He sipped his drink.

"No, they're still dirty. I don't like things that get you dirty." He answered with a grimace. "I don't like anything about dirt .

Max just shook his head in the negative. "No, no nothing is that easy."

She nodded. "Maybe she won't say no."

"Who won't say no?" Faun asked as she sat next to them. "I brought food because you two missed lunch." She told them as he held up a small parcel.

Faun raised an eyebrow. "I hope you aren't teaching our little sister bad habits." Faun told him playfully.

"Anyway... I'll see you here next week? Same time?"

"Yes you do, you didn't even offer our guest a sandwich first, that's bad manners." She told him playfully.

Belle just watched them and laughed.

"She's family, not a guest. She has to fight for her sandwich like everyone else." He laughed.

Belle toon the sandwich straight from his hand as he was talking and as she ate it Faun just laughed.

"Oi!" He laughed, pushing her gently.

"I am sure by now you've heard through the grapevine that a cure exists - to take away our wolf, vampires immortality, menfolk tails. All of the stuff like that," Harrison hummed. "Max found out months ago, kept it from everyone."

"Yeah, I heard." Koby told him. "I bet Faun gave him hell. For keeping it from. Her."

Belle laughed as she swallowed the sandwich.

"Mm, she wanted to. I reigned her in, Abi gave him a hard enough time for it." Harrison answered with a shrug. "And Noah and Becks boy, Elijah - that young alpha everyone is on about. Have you seen him at any of your meetings?"
