Leo took a step closer to Alicia once again reaching out to her. "We let your king go on the count of 3, the same time you let Alicia go. You understand? 1.....2...3."

Alicia reached for his hand.

The guard nodded. "We shall see if you can keep your word."

Leo done the count up the, giving Hayden the nod to let Jasper go as he grabbed a hold of Alicia's hand and tugged her so that she was close to him.

Alicia grabbed his hand and she rested into him.

Hayden let Jasper go.

"Now," Leo commanded Hayden in almost a whisper, the two having come up with a plan to kill Jasper upon Alicia's safe return with help from the palace's weapons inventor.

Hayden moved his hand as JAsper ran past him and Jasper fell to his knees, a deep knife wound in his neck, causing the life to fade almost as quickly as he had done it.

"There is your King." Leo hummed to Jasper's guards, "As promised. Do not ever question my Kingdoms power again, good luck with functioning with no monarch." he sneered, before leading Alicia to the carriage gently. "Come on, let us go home."

She nodded quietly.

Hayden followed them, walking back to the carriage.

"Can I trust you to drive without falling asleep?" Leo asked Hayden once Alicia was safely in the carriage.

He nodded.

"Good." Leo answered before getting in, sitting down beside Alicia and with a shaky exhale of relief - was finally able to hold her properly. Arms encompassing around her as he whispered, "I am so sorry, my angel, you are safe now."

Alicia nodded. "I fought back." She whispered. "All they did was hit me."

"Of course you did," He whispered, kissing the top of her head. "You are strong, now you are strong and safe. I will do my best to make it so that you will never go through anything like that ever again, I promise. Are you - are you okay?"

She nodded. "I wouldnt let them touch me, I'm still a good wife for you."

"It's okay, it is okay." Leo soothed, resting his palm against her cheek gently. "Even if they had, you would still be a good wife. It wouldn't of been your fault."

She nodded and she lifted her skirt up slightly and pulled one of his daggers out of her boot. "I stole it from your drawer before I left."

"Smart, very smart." He grinned. "Well done you."

She smiled softly and she leant up and kissed him.

Leo kissed her back gently. Pulling away to ask, "Now, what do you propose we do about Hayden? Allowing all of this to happen."

"I don't blame him." She told him.

"We must do something, otherwise we may lose respect from the other workers - other kingdoms."

"Technically he did as I asked."

"Fine, fine." Leo sighed. "Whatever you wish, my angel."
