"Oh, right. Yeah." Ronan grimaced. "I don't like thinking about that."

Kadir tensed beneath her touch, watching her closely as she spoke before hesitantly lifting his hand up to touch her face. Hand dropping seconds later to sweep her off of her feet and place her on one of the counter tops instead; kissing her passionately as he held onto her waist.

Serena made a small noise of surprise, kissing him back deeply as she knitted her fingers in his hair, wrapping her legs around his waist.

Serena began to unbutton his shirt, pulling it from him. “You’re not allowed to stop; but what if I told you - what if I told you that I sacked it off with the rest of them because you were all I could think about when I was with them?” She breathed against his lips in between kisses.

Rhys leaned over to kiss her gently.

“I... panicked earlier, when you went to the store with Esme and Rhys was out, and I was on my own. I was fine initially but the longer you were gone I - began to panic.”

“I’m not dependent, I just don’t want you to take them. I’m not dependent on my bookcase but I wouldn’t want you walking out the house with it.”

Cleo kissed him back just as softly, keeping it briefly so that she could lean across and slip her arms around him gently.

"Mm, I'd say you were lying." He breathed, kissing down her neck slowly then. "It goes against your ambition not to commit."

After, Serena lay curled up into Kadir in his bed, dozing with her head on his chest - way past the time she’d usually have left by.

“That was... something else.” Serena whispered, shifting so she was laying on her stomach as she watched his face. “You really have been holding out on me haven’t you?” She hummed.

“Looks like we’ve got some planning to do.” Rhys smiled happily then.

“Oh?”

“Wedding, we’re still getting married right?” Rhys asked as he looked to Cleo then.

Sienna took a few steps back from him when he blocked the door, colour draining from her face at his body language and tone of voice as her muscles tensed. "L- Let me leave, Grayson. Move out of the way; move out of the fucking way."

"Of course we are," Cleo confirmed gently, leaning over to kiss his cheek as she added with a quiet laugh, "I've still got the ring, haven't I?"

"I did tell you there was fire between us." Kadir laughed.

Bella excused herself quietly before heading up to find Ronan.

“Not just something you’re saying? You really feel that way about me?” Serena asked as she ran her hand up his chest gently.

“Fine. Go. But say anything to anyone including your little weirdo boyfriend and I’m done with you. Completely done.” Grayson hissed, moving from the door and going back to his bed.

She darted out of the room as soon as she was given the opportunity to, sprinting straight to Altair's; where she believed there to be a family meeting as it was closer than her home. Letting herself inside and sitting down in the hallway with her back against the wall as she tried to slow her breathing down, cheeks red from the speed of which she had gone there.

Ronan was leant in the doorway of his daughters room, watching her play quietly.

"Why would I just say it? I have no obligations to you, do I? If anything what I feel isn't good. It's dangerous to have any kind of intense feelings in a situation like this, where there is no planned future."

Cleo wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back deeply.
