Ronan was already starting to talk about her taking up a place in Langsteads, then he and Dane were bickering over who gets to call her sister like she was a rag doll they’d found. River and Dane then had a conversation I only caught half of because River was signing but I gathered it was about River not wanting to upset Dane but wanting to call Karsi a sibling. It was just - it felt wrong talking about her when she wasn’t there. And she and Louis already have shit going on with the kids and Sean.”

“Mm, you should’ve found one too, but look where we both are now.”

“She’s not said anything about it... Kadir is nice and all but... when are you gonna move back in?”

"It's a lot for her to be going through, and them too." Darya agreed quietly, running her fingers up and down his arm gently. "How do you feel about it all?"

Sienna frowned, looking down at the ground as she slipped an arm around her own stomach. "Did I ruin your life... by.. being born?"

"It's not going to happen, Lux. Your mother and I... we're not together anymore, we won't be again."

“No, of course not. Why would you ask a question like that?”

“Makes me... I don’t know. Angry at mom but I don’t know why she had an affair do I? Was it a revenge thing against my father for his own cheating? Were they temporarily broken up? Did she know about Sophia being sick? Just... questions.”

"That... that makes a lot of sense then, yeah. Imagine if she would of... oh my god." Darya grimaced. "Lucky escape, that could of been messy."
