"Oh... hi, your awake." Cain mumbled in surprise as he wandered back into Mila's room. Flowers, a giant card, a small teddy and celebratory balloons filling his arms. "I- damnnit, I wanted to get everything organised while you were sleeping."

(( So.. the sad options with Mason and Sienna will be easier to play out then the happy one. If he did kill her, a body is found and then they can either track him him he disappears? But it's up to you. ))

“I’m awake.” Mila nodded with a small smile. “So is Wren - I - what’s all this?” She giggled, pushing herself up out of bed and slowly walking towards him.

“I’m sorry I scared everyone…”

“Very true.” Karsi chuckled as she pulled up in the hospital car park, getting ouy.

"Don't be silly. Tobias and that paramedic you liked saved the day for you." Louis chuckled.

“N-Nathan? What happened?”

“I- I did? I did?!” Mila grinned, clapping her hands together before wrapping her arms around his neck in a hug.

"Woah, woah wait a minute." Cain laughed, dropping the gifts onto the bed so he could wrap his arms around her waist and spin her around gently. "You're so brave, so amazing. Congratulations, my beautiful wife. Open up your card, open it up... it's important."

"He was the paramedics, one of the paramedics. He took over CPR from Tobias. He has been checking in on you, start and beginning of every one of his shifts. Spending at least an hour with you on his days off."

"Early days yet, hm? Plenty of time to mess it all up."

Ronan sat himself down back into his car, a few states away and clothes soaked through from the rain showe he quite hadn't managed to escape. Letting out a slow breath to try and compose himself as, with shaky hands, he called Maddox's number.

“We all mess up.” Karsi pulled her into a hug. “Nobody’s perfect… but the fact you’re worried about messing up means you’re already pretty damn good at this being a mother thing…” she whispered, before adding; “I hope now you have Elle and Ezra… you understand how the love I have for you is no different to your siblings. That just because I didn’t give birth to you doesn’t make you any less mine…”

Mila made an unintelligible noise of excitement, pressing a brief but deep kiss to his lips before pulling away when he said she needed to check her card. Eyebrow raising before she did as told, taking the card and opening the envelope to pull it out.

“Oh wow… I thought he didn’t like me after what happened…how… how kind of him.”

“Ronan?” Maddox answered quietly, noise in the background indicating he was travelling.

"Maddox... where are you? It doesn't - it doesn't matter, actually. Pull over." Ronan told him, keeping his voice soft.

"Friends argue, don't they? It's just a normal part of life. I'm sure he'll probably pop in later aswell."

The card itself was a generic congratulations card, with a generic message that Cain had simply signed his name on - what was nestled inside though were two tickets to St. Lucia in the Carribean, along with photos of a villa with an outdoor pool nestled in one of the forests - where they would be staying.

Tesni nodded, hugging her back tightly. "I do..."

Karsi squeezed her tightly, “Good… I know it’s something you’ll always struggle with. But I want you to hold onto that feeling - how you feel for your little girl - if you ever question how me and your dad love you.”

“He’s a good person… and it explains the ache in my chest.” Wren smiled weakly. “The doctor said he’d be back later to give me a rundown of the full injury list considering everywhere hurts. Wants me to do some cognitive tests and stuff to double check I’m not brain damaged.”

Mila squealed in excitement, grinning as she wrapped her arms around him again. “I can’t wait! This is gonna br fantastic!”

“I- why?” Maddox frowned, though did as asked and pulled over at the side of the road.

"The flights leave in a week, the doctors need you in for a couple of days more to watch you as everything gets out of your system but after that. Off we go, to live the high life on our own little island."

"Your going to make me cry, don't." She laughed nervously then, pulling back from the hug.

"Well, you know I'll be right here for you when that happens." Louis assured with a tired smile. "It's so nice to see you awake, Wren."

"I uh..." Ronan paused, shuffling as he glanced over his shoulder into the back seat. "I found her, Maddox and.. I'm - I'm sorry."

Karsi chuckled, kissing her forehead. “Love you baby girl… now let’s go annoy your sister mm?” She whispered before heading inside the hospital.

“Genuinely aren’t enough words in the human language to express how much I love you.” Mila smiled, burying her face in his neck. A few moments later beginning to shake as relieved sobs wracked through her body.

“It’s nice to see you too daddy.” Wren opened her arms ouy for a hug, wincing as she did so but not putting them down.

“F-found who? Sorry about what?”

"Sienna... I found Sienna. She - she was already... awhile ago I think. I'll bring her home, then come back out and look for the boy... I am in Delaware though so it'll take me a bit of time to drive back."

Cain sat himself down on the edge of the bed, bringing her into his lap as he hugged her tightly. "I know, I know. It's been so hard... I- I'm so proud of you, Mila. You're so strong."

Tesni nodded, following her inside.

"Careful." Louis frowned, leaning in to hug her gently.

“I couldn’t have done it without you, you’ve been so wonderful throughout it all, endless support. I’m so lucky to have you.” Mila cried through her tears as she curled into him. “I’m so grateful we’ve got more time.”

“As much as I appreciate everyone… I’m getting sick of these places.” Wren laughed softly as she hugged him back.

“Hey you.” Karsi grinned as she rounded the door to her room, instantly rushing over and joining in the hug.

“No… no. You… no!”

"I'm sorry, I - I don't want to be detailed, don't want to upset you more than I have to over the phone. I'm so sorry I couldn't find her in time, Maddox. The email came through today too, it - he is her son."

Tesni paused in the doorway, fingers curling around the frame as she watched closely - not wanting to crowd Wren too much.

"Cain went for a walk, he and Mila will be here once he is back." Louis updated Karsi quietly.

"We have - we... I've changed my mind Mila. I want to take it, I don't want us to go through again. If we can have forever let's- let's take it. If it gets too much we always have that pact you were on about, right? Always a way out once we have kids and they grow up and we're content with life."

Karsi nodded, kissing her daughters head before looking over and waving Tesni to come join them.

Wren laughed a little at the attention, grinning as she was cuddled.

“No… no you’re fucking lying to me!” Maddox hissed before hanging up shakily, pulling back out on the road and turning round.

Cain nodded, "I- I can't lose you to this. The - the doctors said they had some stocked in here, so, all we have to do is ask them to grab us one each and it'll be done. What do you think?"

Tesni quietly stepped inside properly, wandering over.
