Wren smiled, gently placing her hands on either side of his face as she moved to kiss him deeply.

“I mean… if you decided you didn’t wanna work for a while whilst you figured stuff out, or went to school or anything you know me and your dad would have your back money wise. You never had chance to go to college with the swimming and all so… yeah.”

Tobias nodded, kissing the top of her head as he held her close.

"Lets stop talking about the end of my swimming career, hm?" Cain laughed quietly then. "I probably still have another five years left doing it, one more olympics after this one."

Nathan kissed her back the same way, snaking his arms around her waist and pulling her closer.

Tesni continued the motion with her thumb, growing quiet then. Trying to ease him into a sleep before she would allow herself to drift off too.

“We’ll see how you feel about training for the olympics when you’ve got all the kids at home your wife wants.” Karsi chuckled. “I’m sure you could keep going forever if you had the inclination, you’re the best and only getting better.”

Wren deepened the kiss, keeping it for a few seconds before breaking away to look back at the house, grabbing his hands and dragging him into the stable with a giggle before moving to kiss him again.

“I’ll get the kids later from daycare, you sleep as long as you need to.”

"My mom is having them tonight, I forgot to say." Tesni whispered. "The day care know. Tonight is just for us, Tobi."

"You pulling me into the dark to have your way with me?" Nathan asked with a quiet laugh, moving his hand to tangle his fingers in her hair and kiss her back passionately.

"Not getting better , not at the moment anyway." Cain hummed quietly. "I'm only just meeting my best time."

“I mean it’d be the worlds biggest horse girl cliche if I did in the stables on the hay wouldn’t it?” Wren grinned, moving her hand to his shoulders under his jacket and gently nudging - allowing him to decide if he wanted to remove it or not.

“Anything me or your dad can do to help?”

“Why? Why do they need to have them?”

“I - Cain?” Karsi frowned then, reaching over and gently touching his arm. “You think you need it?”

“You need sleep too though.”

"I think it's the stress of everything with Mila and Wren, the extra few days we had on holiday to celebrate. Having to visit Wren instead of train. Slowing metabolism, I don't know. I need it though. I need another win, mom. I can't be washed up already."

"Well, I don't. I want to slow down." Nathan whispered with a frown.

“You’re better than doping Cain, you can win without this.” Karsi moved to sit next to him then, pulling him into her arms. “You know what they’re like for surprising you with tests, the one time you’re not clean will surely be the time they randomly test you.”

“Okay, okay.” Wren nodded. “Can we go back to the kissing stuff?” She asked with a grin.

“You just said you were tired.”

"It's not cheating, it is still me doing the work." Cain answered with an eyeroll. "You said you would help me, mom. Are you going to or not? Either way I'm doing what I have to do to win."

"You- you don't need me?" Tesni flinched then, sitting herself up when he moved away and staring at him with a hurt expression. Voice breaking slightly in panic as insecurities bubbled.

"That gives us plenty of time for kissing then." He chuckled, pulling her in and leaning in.

Wren grinned, kissing him back deeply.

“Okay… okay.” Tobias whispered, moving to wrap his arms around her again.

“They never told me this was this much fun, I might’ve lightened up a while ago had I known.” Wren laughed softly, picking some hay from his hair.

“Hope you brought that trusty umbrella again.” Esme chuckled as she headed over to the table at the cafe in the middle of the park by the pond, looking up at the sky which had darkened slightly.

"I always bring my umbrella." Dale, a six foot one man with a slim build and slightly curled brunette (but blonde tipped) hair purred. Visibly relaxing back into his seat upon his arrival, "You look dazzling."

"Mm, for some people it isn't." He chuckled, turning his head to kiss down her neck once again.

"I'll do it without you then." Cain mumbled, moving away from her and going to leave the room.

Tesni swallowed thickly, hesitating for a moment before curling into him. "Don't say shit like that, Tobi. You can't do that."

“I didn’t mean it how it came out. I’m sorry princess.” Tobias kissed her forehead as he pulled her closer.

“Cain… please don’t do this. You’ll regret it baby.”

“This is teasing.” Wren whispered, breath hitching in her throat as she moved her hands to grip his arm.

“I’m glad the charm wasn’t just a one time thing.” Esme grinned as she sat down. “You’re not looking too bad yourself, a bit drier than the last time we met. But I suppose I am too.”

"Never a one-time thing." Dale agreed gently, leaning forward slightly so he could maintain eye contact. "Could I get you a drink?"

"Mm." Tesni mumbled quietly, "Lets just watch this now."

"You're already sweet enough, right?" Dale chuckled at his own joke, getting to his feet and heading to the small open coffee shop to get them both a drink. Placing hers in front of her as he sat back in his seat with a small espresso cup for himself.

"Are you sure?" He breathed. "I wouldnt want to tease you."

Tesni didn't move for a while, though after half an hour lifting her hand up and began to brush her thumb in small circles against his chest once again.

“My father spent a year abroad in Italy for college and became a coffee snob - we can’t sully coffee in our house .” Esme chuckled. “Though I’ll take the compliment, I hope you like sweet things.”

“Then how about we do this?” Wren asked before quickly grabbing his shirt and twisting him so he was leaning against the hay instead, running her hand over his shirt as she gently kissed his collarbone

“I know what you’re doing…”

Nathan gasped in surprise, before groaning quietly and turning his head to give her more room; "Slick moves."

"Sshh, we're missing it. You keep talking, I want to know if he rescues his daughter or not."

"What was he doing over there?' Dale asked with a warm smile. "I think I went to Italy for a week when I was six, the memories are sketchy though."
