Faye curled against him, burying her face against his chest as she cried.

“You know cows kill more people every year than any other animal? So I like to think that by eating them I’m helping humanity… and if you think there’s some big tguy in the sky who’s gonna turn my insides out and stab me with a prong for eternity because I won’t get married just to have sex then a mental health professional is needed.” Nora grinned as she grabbed the new drink.

“Is there anything I can do right now?”

"I'm not open to exploring the possibilities of where one goes after they die today." Asher grimaced, downing half of his glass. "I don't see how cows kill more people than like... hippos."

“Because dumbasses get in the field with them thinking they’re harmless. And they trample them to death.”

“I’ll call him, of course. But I do think it would be better if we got a flight there too, to see him?”

Faye lifted her hand up to stifle sobs, caving as she shakily nodded in agreement.

“They’re like giant puppies! You never hugged a cow? They love affection.”

Ben sighed sadly, moving to wrap her into his arms again as he held her close

"No. No.. they look weird, I don't like them. My mom took me to one of those petting zoos with my older brothers once - Archie stayed home with dad ill. Anyway, one like kicked a bucket of milk all over me, it was horrific."

“Right… so a cow traumatised you.” Nora snorted

"Yes, it did." Asher chuckled, sipping at his drink. "It is perfectly possible, People get traumatised by more ridiculous things - like spiders. Spiders are adorable, how can people be scared of them?"

“Because they’re not adorable they’re venomous?”

"They have loads of tiny eyes and little fluffy legs. They're adorable! Moths too... cute. I wish they were big enough to hug." He laughed

“You’re a psychopath.”

"That's a nice way of saying I am a Levi." Asher laughed.

“So you all cuddle spiders?”

"No, no just me..."

“Psycho.”
