Antione shook his head, kissing her cheek gently. "Next time you see your siblings you'll have to tell their mother I'm not here it seems. Apparently I am to be no where near them ever again." He snorted. "Crazy lady."

"I'll plan the engagement party; and then the wedding itself we plan together." Marlowe hummed happily. "Should we go down and see if the boys have ripped each other apart yet? I haven't heard yelling so I think we'l manage a successful night."

"I asked her to put her coat on, she refused and screeched about how just because we have dead moms doesn't mean she has to go to hers. She was a fucking brat, so I text Odette and told her so - told her she had to pick them up because they were refusing to do anything for me. Crazy bitch acted like I hit them or something."

They’re gonna be lashing out…”

The following Friday....

Yasmin was leant against a bar with her elbows, happily chatting away to an older gentleman in a lavish suit. Relaxed enough as he hand brushed the silk belt that hung around the waist of her body con midi dress though her eyes showed the discomfort of it.

"These business mingling events are always bizarre. I forget it isn't just your family who are ridiculously rich." Dorian chuckled as he scanned the people that milled around the area. Raising her eyebrows in amusement when he spotted Marlowe dancing with a stranger, "And of course my sister has found the dance floor."

"And some orange juice for you." Tesni whispered, crouching down in front of a seat in one of the quieter side rooms to give her daughter the drink. "We won't be here long sweetie, okay? I just need to work, speak to some important people and then we'll be gone. I don't find these any fun either."

Rex walked in a moment later with a tall blonde in floor length black dress. Resting his hand on the small of her back and murmuring something in her ear before letting her go. The girl turning to Amelia who’s walked in behind them with Sebastian, looping her arm through Amelia’s with a grin and heading to the bar with her, already chatting up a storm.

“Your girlfriend is shy so I’ve told Sasha to be friendly, she’s in safe hands.” Rex assured as he flashed his brother a grin.

“It’s funny because even us and Ronan’s family are on the lower end here… Dad and Noah missed a trick by not getting into oil.” Caliban snorted.

“Why did I have to come too?” Elle sighed softly as she played with the straw in her drink.

"Because your daddy was also working and can only keep an eye on one of you at his work. You had to come with me because there isn't disabled access for Ez here." Tesni frowned. "We won't be here long, I promise."

"It is never too late I suppose." He chuckled, lifting his hand up to scratch at his cheek lightly. "Though I guess that is the whole point of the isn't it? Branching out."

Sebastian shook his head as he watched the two of them go, frowning at Rex and answering quietly; "If she gets over whelmed and we have to leave earlier it is your fault. You could of consulted me first before setting her some kind of mission."

"I have many connections." The man summarised, glancing towards Sasha and Amelia when they came over and tutting lightly at the loudness of the chat before his attention turned back to Yasmin. "You'll never achieve anything unless you get yourself involved with people who have those connections."

"As welcome as the advice is, I think I've made it clear that I am not interested in doing it that way." Yasmin snorted, turning her head away to sip at her champagne.

“Your girlfriend is far too shy, she’ll be forever uncomfortable at family events if we don’t crack her out of her she’ll first. Doing this to help you in the long run, brother.”

“Feel free to voice your distaste a little louder.” Sasha flashed the man a sweet smile as she wiggled her fingers at him before leaning on the bar and ordering herself an Amelia a drink.

“Don’t do that, you’ll break skin like you did last week. It’s still fragile remember, mm?”

“Fine, fine. I know the drill. Stay here and be quiet.”
