Meanwhile, Chester had managed to distract the convicts blocking their way and given Noah a chance. He had managed to get out once the convicts realised that he had tricked them so he had a few cuts and bruises as well as some broken ribs, but he made it back to Misha.

Thalia was sat in the corner of the office that she had been locked in, her uniform was torn in many places particularly over intimate areas and her face was bruised from beatings but she kept her eyes on the convict who was pacing the room obviously trying to think of something to do. The knife he had used lay on the table a few feet from him.

"You don't get to just run off like that." Misha scolded as soon as she saw him, meeting him half way to slap her hand against his chest with a worried frown. "Are you trying to get yourself killed? That was stupid in like... ten different ways!"

Chester coughed out a laugh where she hit him being the almost broken pet of his chest. “You well you know me knight in shining armour and all that.”

The guy who held her captive walked towards the door poking his head out to make sure that the coast was clear. Clearly not expecting anyone as he left the knife on the table.

"Fucking stupid idiot." She corrected with a sharp hiss before wrapping her arms around him to hug him tightly. "You're the only one who talks to me in this hell hole. You don't get to disappear and leave me alone."

As the guy picked his head around the corner, Noah would of swung for a punch as soon as he was in range. Aiming for his head.

The guy took the punch like a champ, stumbling back into the room holding his head before he saw Thalia go for the knife and he managed to grab it before her holding it to her throat. “You want her, come and pick up the pieces.” He snarled in warning to Noah.

Chester laughed weakly. “You’d do fine without me babydoll.”

"Of course I would, that doesn't mean I want to be without you though." She whispered quietly, squeezing him gently before leaning back from the hug to look at his face. "You look awful. T will have to fix you up when she gets here."

"And here I was, going to let you live." Noah hummed with an almost bored expression. Pulling a gun out from his pocket, pointing it toward the man's head and pulling the trigger.

The bullet hit the man straight in the forehead, the body falling to the floor taking Thalia with him, the knife sliding along the floor as she scrambled away from the man.

“Yeah that would be good my chest is on fire.” He told her with a soft laugh.

"Yeah? Can I see... take this off." She encouraged, tugging at the bottom of his top. "I'm not T but I know some stuff."

Noah put his gun back into his pocket, grabbing the knife to put it for safe keeping as he slowly crouched down in front of Thalia. Hesitantly offering his arms out to her, "Hi there..."

She moved into his arms breathing a sigh of relief. “I knew you’d come.” She whispered.

Chester took his T-shirt off, his abdomen was already bruised and there seemed to be some odd now bumps where his ribs had been beaten

Noah slipped his arms around her gently, tangling her fingers in her hair and kissing the side of her head gently. "You're safe now."

Misha grimaced, reaching to take his tip off of him and instructing quietly; "Sit down. I need to bind your chest, get your ribs together properly."

“Yes nurse.” Chester told her with a cheeky smile, moving to sit in a chair.

“I always am with you.” She told him softly.

Misha shook her head, though gave an amused grin. Following after him and wrapping his chest tightly; albeit messily - though the best she could - with his t-shirt. Making sure it was tight and forced his ribs back into place.

"We need to-" He began, cutting off when he heard people outside and remaining silent until they had moved on. "We need to get you out of here."

She nodded. “I wasn’t his target.” She told him. “My dad was, he’s going to be all over this place.” She looked to the door as she started to get to her feet using the desk to do it.

Chester gave a soft noise of pain when his ribs were moved, but he didn’t move away just let her work.

"There... that's all I can do. Maybe - maybe one of the guards will escort you to a hospital, you'll need x rays and things." She whispered, resting her hands on his upper arms gently and brushing her fingers in small circles against his skin.

"You're not walking, silly." Noah tutted, getting to his own feet and sweeping her up into his arms as he done so. "What does your dad have to do with anything?"

“You didn’t recognise my name?” She asked quietly as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “McGintley, is the name of the drug lord that runs this town.” She told him. “I’m not my family Noah, I wanted to get away from it, I wanted to be good…he proved I wasn’t.”

“It’s alright you did good.” He told her kissing her head

"You didn't travel very far to get away from it then, huh?" He laughed quietly, "Next you'll be sayin- wait.. that prisoner; the girl who calls you 'T' she is in on drug charges... is she something to do with this all?"

"We need to see if we can get you into one of these ambulances. Come on..."

“It’s alright I’m going to wait to see if Thalia is alright.”

“We used to be friends in school, then she dated my brother and got in on the family business, we lost touch until she got out in here.” She told him. “Don’t worry the warden knows all about it, I came clean when I first treated her as long as I’m professional the warden is fine with it.”

"I wasn't going to rat you out or anything, Thalia." Noah frowned. "I can't believe we've been talking like we have and you've not told me any of this though. Your basically a stranger."

“I didn’t tell you because the day I left for nursing school I got disowned by them because it wasn’t the family business, I’m not in their life so I didn’t think it mattered this has never happened before.”

He sighed. “Alright.”

"I gave you my life fucking story and you lied to me." Noah muttered. "Never mind, right? I see where we are now."

"Go..." She prompted once again, motioning to an ambulance.

“You didn’t ask about my family.” She told him. “This is why I didn’t tell you, because it changes things, you can put me down if you want I can walk.”
