When the lesson was over she grabbed her bag and put her things into it

He shoved his things into his bag and got to his feet.

She waited for him by the door

He only took a moment before he was behind her.

She smiled slightly at feeling him behind her

He slipped his hand into hers.

She slid her fingers between his to hold his hand.

"Do you want to go to your locker before we head to lunch?"

“Yeah I’ll drop my books off the bag is getting pretty heavy.”

He nodded and headed towards her locker.

She followed him and when they reached her locker she opened it and put her books inside, taking some tablets from a box attached to the door the heavy books had affected her spine.

He watched her quietly, keeping a close eye on her.

"I'm okay." She promised him.

"When your bags too heavy.. you can tell me.."

“I know but I like to increase the weight it’s meant to make it stronger.”

"But if it's hurting you..."

“The pain is normal, trust me babe I’m fine.” She told him gently resting a hand on his cheek

"Okay.. but.. if it gets to be too much.. you'll tell me?"

“Of course.” She promised with a soft smile

He nodded. "Lunch?"

“Lunch.” She agreed

Taking hold of her hand, he led the way there.

She held his hand as they walked

He brought her to where they could get their lunch.

She happily followed
