Hunter watched Cameron as he snuggled up to Emma and held out his hand for Hunters, which Hunter gave him.

Darnell waited for her patiently.

Maddie: didn't take to long to get to his side

Noah: had his arm about her waist

Darnell grinned at her, turning her board around to face the shore before turning his own and getting to his feet, "Now stand up and try not to fall off when a wave comes. Keep your weight equally balanced."

Maddie: watched him make it all look so easy with a small sigh. Slowly she tried to stand up though before she even managed to get onto both feet she toppled off into the water

[[ I had a friend who surfed once and he told me he'd teach me but I haven't got a wetsuit (Which you kinda need with how cold the sea is here - though I did swim in the sea once when it was pouring down with rain in just my bikini and the waves were huge and we were going really far out and it was fun but also scary and my friend complained about being light-headed but went even further out anyway xD]]]

Darnell laughed a bit.

Maddie: came up laughing and got back up onto the board. Trying again slower this time she managed to get to her feet

"Well done,"

Maddie: looked at him and smiled but just that had her falling over into the water again

Darnell burst out laughing

Maddie: once more got up onto the board pushing her hair out of her face with a laugh and smile This isn't so easy is it?

"You'll get the hang of it soon, it takes practice." He grinned, "You should see some of the other surfers round here - they've got crazy skill. I'm just an amateur in comparison. Most of 'em are in Australia now for a global competition."

Maddie: Well you can stand without falling over, that's enough for me. she laughed getting back up onto her feet again

Darnell laughed a bit and stepped from his board onto hers, standing behind her and resting his hands on her waist. Keeping her balanced, "I'll help you,"

Maddie: blushed softly at his touch though it was innocent and such biting her lip gently Alright...

"Now try not to slip, just lean to the side as you feel me lean to the side. I've got you, so you won't fall."

Maddie: nodded slowly with understanding doing her best not to topple over each time a wave hit the board

A few weeks later, Darnell was stood just on the sand, watching her surf silently to see how much better she'd gotten.

Maddie: had taken to surfing pretty easily having learned rather well over the course of a few weeks. She was able to stand on her own and do several easy tricks he'd shown her
