He smiled softly resting with her

Rylee didn't really need to rest but it sometimes helped her be able to keep a more solid form for longer periods of time.

Max on the other hand fell asleep

With him asleep she remained right where she was, resting very peacefully in his arms.

He woke up as the morning hit

She remained with him all night long, having faded out most of the night but still there, this allowing her to actually store more energy for herself.

He stirred sligjtly moving to sit up so that he didn’t disturb her

The moment he moved she opened her eyes and smiled at him.

He smiled back. “Good morning.”

"Good morning," she whispered softly.

He kissed her lips gently

She returned the gentle kiss.

He smiled softly. “Fancy some breakfast?”

"I don't really need to but sure."

“Okay then fancy some company?”

"If that company is you, I do. but if you're hungry you should eat."

He smiled moving to get up. “Come on then.”

Rylee moved to get up with a soft smile.

He headed downstairs with her and he found Alice in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone

She held his hand, keeping at his side.

He slid an arm around her

She smiled. "Morning."

“Morning you two.” Alice smiled. “Max I’ve left some brains on the counter for you, didn’t know when you’d be awake.”

Rylee gently patted his arm and gave him a little smile.

Max nodded and he walked over to where she had made his breakfast
