Harry Potter....The Story That Never Happened....For Magical Fans to RP

Hermione walked over to him and knelt down, her hands cupping his cheeks. "Draco, Draco, stop. Stop... You need to stop. It's okay, it's okay. I know. Let him through to talk to me. Just stop forcing it."

Soon the dragon came through with a whimper of pain, he was trying to stop trying to make them both feel better and stop her feeling their pain but his eyes showed agony. “Mate-“ he winced.

"I'm right here," she whispered softly, rubbing her thumb against his face gently. "I know you're hurting. Both of you. For whatever the reason is that you can't shift right now, you have to stop. It's hurting you both. Please rest."

“That’s the problem we don’t know how.” He bite out with another sound of pain this was torture to him

"What do you mean you don't know how? You can't make yourself stop the shift?" She wasn't really sure that she was understanding this.

“No we can’t just stop it it has to complete.” He told her as he winced. “Once it begins unless we aim for a half creature it has to complete,”

She frowned very deeply, sitting on the floor so she hold him as best as she could. "It's going to be okay, Love. I'm right here with you."

"You need to go" He bit out. "I couldhurt you by accident,I'munpredictable when in pain."

"Absolutely not. There's no way that I'm leaving you like this,"

"I couldn't bear it if I hurt you" He pleaded. "Justkeep a distance, please my love"

"I'm safe, if I feel dangered I'll move. I trust you. Trust yourself. Trust him."

Suddenly the door opened and Aria ran in, she looked frazzled, obviously been feeling her brother's pain and she was shocked at what she had walked in on. "What's happened?"

"Close the door!" Hermione called out to her. "He's been trying to shift but he can't. Something is stopping him and now he's hurting. I don't know how to help him..."

Aria ran over and she knelt beside her brother. "Snape...The last I saw of him he was in Snape's classroom, he isn't in my sight." She told her quietly, in his pained state Draco wouldn't have heard her, but usually if someone disappeared from her sight they were dead.

"He told The Dark Lord about me and Scorpius. That's why we're in here. Draco was angry and I thought I was helping by bringing him in here so he could calm down..."

Aria nodded. "Okay that explains the anger....But not this...It's killing him....I'm going to get Madam Pomfrey and Dumbledore, they might be able to help."

"He says he needs to shift but he can't. Why wouldn't he be able to?" She nodded though and refused to move as she wasn't going to leave him.

Aria ran off out of the room shutting the door behind her.

When she was gone, Draco managed to roll into his front enough to spit out blood from his mouth, Aria was right, this did seem to be killing him. "Snape...If I survive this, I'm throwing him off the tower."

Hermione wiped the blood from his mouth. "Shhhhh, save your energy, it's going to be okay. You'll make it through. I know you will. You'll shift Draco."

He nodded, moving to simply lie on the floor his strength waning with the amount of pain that he was in and suddenly the doors swung open, Madam Pomfrey rushing in with Aria and Professor Dumbledore and McGonagall following.

She didn't move even when she heard them all come in, she was much to focused on Draco and trying to keep him as calm as she could and trying to take away some of his pain.

"Miss Grainger, can you move a little so I can examine him?" Madam Pomfrey asked.

"Snape did this," Aria told Dumbldore.

"What have you seen Arianna?" Dumbldore asked.

She nodded, moving enough for him to be looked at but not enough that she wasn't able to touch him.

Hermione told them what she had told Aria and what Draco had told her. Then let Aria tell them the rest.

Aria looked at everyone, wrapping her arms around herself. "He gave Draco a drink, he's been working on a potion to help but he's stopped helping, the potion wasn't right, the bottle had a skull on it." She told them. "It increase Draco's anger causing the shift but it was stopped by the potion in the drink, forcing him to kill himself in exhaustion."

Madam Pomfrey checked Draco over as best as she could.

Hermione looked angered now. "He wants to kill him? But-.. but why?!" She shook her head in confusion and frustration, reaching out to wipe some more blood away from Draco's mouth so he wouldn't choke.
