“More cursed…not every dragon chooses to live as a half human and half dragon.” Draco told him. “My father found others that would fight for him, and stop others like us from being born, they are after my son.”

"Then we need to get you inside to Hermione and make sure that they can't get to her or him,"

Draco nodded just as The Minister of Magic joined them. "The barrier has been removed, Master Malfoy, go to yor wife."

Ron gestured for Draco to go ahead so that he could explain to the Minister what was going on and perhaps have some sort of other barrier or ward put into place to keep other dangers out.

Draco ran off straight away going to find his wife and he threw the door open to the Room of Requirement

Hermione was on her feet so quickly it actually made her sway a little with dizziness. "Draco!"

Draco was on her immediately pulling her into him

She hugged him tightly, pressing her face into his shoulder. "You're okay?"

“I am. Are you?”

"Don't go worrying me like that.." she whispered, nuzzling her head into his neck. "My back is hurting a little but otherwise we're both fine."

“I’ll give you a massage later.” He promised quietly

She smiled softly. "That would be nice."

He smiled softly.

"Are you sure you're not hurt?"

He nodded. "I'm fine."

"You better be."

He smiled softly, before the ragon pushed human Draco to the back of his head and he nuzzled her mark. "I am glad that you are unharmed." He told her quietly.

She hummed gently at the nuzzle. "We're perfectly okay, I promise."

He wanted to say something more, before there was a deafening screech down the corridor outside of the room, it wasn't human, but it made Draco's dragon tense.

"What was that?" Harry asked.

"That was a Chinese Firebolt." Draco told him. "His allies have found their way into the castle."

"What are they after?" Mrs Grainger asked.

"They're after my wife and son."

Hermione's head snapped up off of Draco's shoulder when she heard that dragon, her grasp on him tightening. "Scorpious? No. They are not getting our son."

"They won't get either of you." Draco promised her, a growl coming from him as his dragon agreed. "They have entered our territory, we must get rid of them." The dragon told them as he pushed forward but Draco stubbornly remained with his wife.

"I know, Scorpious will always be safe." She held onto him tightly. "We need to make sure that they can't get in here."

He looked to the door as the walls started to crack as it sounded like something was ramming itself into the door. “Everyone against the far wall, stay as far out of the way as you can.”

"How did they even find this room? The door was supposed to disappear..." Hermione tangled her fingers in his shirt. "Draco..."

Ginny grabbed Harry's hand but at the same time she had pulled out her wand along with Ron.

Aria looked to her brother. “It’s the dragon they followed his scent.”
