"We need to hear all about how you met Zion," Alessia grinned.

Sabrina looked a bit co fused before she remembered that Aeron wasn’t his real name. “Oh…I’m…we were in school hed just ‘transferred’.” She told them. “We were lab partners and we became friends in study group together and I guess it went from there.”

"Oh, oh that's sweet."

She nodded. "Yeah, it was." She looked to Zion as she said it and she had a soft smile on her face, she was still pretty much in love with him as she used to be.

Zion didn't notice, his eyes fixed upon Baelfire in silence.

When he didn't notice, she went silent, looking to their son who was happily showing Damian his shells.

Damian looked to Zion. "You okay?" He asked him quietly.

Zion barely nodded his confirmation

Damian raised an eyebrow. "We can talk if you want and if you're ready for that." He offered.

"Can you come to the water with me grandpa?" Baelfire asked, looking to Damian. "You too dad?"

"What do you want to do at the water, kid?"

"Can you help me look for more shells?"

"Sure... of course."

"Sabrina and I will be fine here, getting to know each other." Alessia smiled

Sabrina seemed a bit nervous, afterall she was the only human here, she coldn't possibly see how demonic royalty could want to get to know her, even if she was the mother of the Prince's child. But she coldn;t be rude to said royalty either."

Damian nodded, moving to stand. "Lead the way Baelfire."

Baelfire took both Damian and Zion's hands, pulling them towards the waters edge.

Zion walked silently.

"Sit down, sit down." Alessia invited as she settled into her own sun lounger. "Tell me about yourself. Are you an only child? What are your parents like? Do you work?"

Damian was also quiet until Baelfire ran off to the shallows to get more shells. "You worked it out didn't you?" He asked quietly. "About Sabrina's condition."

She sat with her. "There's not much to tell..." Sabrina told her. "My parents are both retired, I'm the youngest of four, two older brothers and an older sister...We don't really speak much. "I do freelance work for an architecture company...I design the buildings and interiors." She looked over to her son. "It gives me some time with Bael and Aeron."

"Aeron." Alessia mused. "I wonder why he chose that name for his new life."

"Pregnant, I think. The other thing though... I can't work that out." He took in a breath. "She nearly died delivering Bael."

"I remember." He nodded. "You have us here, it wouldn't be the first time I stopped someone mid death." He told him. "I did it for Belle, I cold do it for her too." He offered.

She shrugged. "I know he told me his name...But I've called him Aeron for so long..."

'"I'm not criticising you,"

"I would rather it not be a risk at all."

"Sorry...I'm used to being criticised." She told her with a blush to her cheeks, as she turned her eyes to watch them.

"She's human, you've probably already worked out that they aren't normally able to carry a child with our abilities in the first place, but there's something about her, she's quite different from normal humans." He seemed rather curious about Sabrina. "At the moment, I don't think she knows that she's pregnant...If you want to talk to her about it and discuss it, I don't mind watching Baelfire." He offered.

"There isn't anything to say... I don't want to talk about anything, with anyone."

"You are, by who?"

"It's hard being the youngest, my sister critisises about how Aeron and I raise Bael, my brothers criticise our home, my mother critisises that we don;t give Bael more siblings," She shrugged. "It's what Im used to.2

Damian nodded. "Alright, maybe it will solve itself before she realises." He suggested as Bael ran over. "Dad, grandpa, look." He held out his hand and there was a small hermit crab in his palm.

"I never asked your opinon." Zion retorted sharply to his father before his attention went back to his son. "Oh wow, that's cool, mm?"

"People like to have opinions where opinions were never welcomed, or asked for. It is a... habit even Zion's father and sister have. It causes many arguments."

“I can imagine.” Sabrina told her

“As you wish it.” He told him

"Zion has a much lower tolerance for it then even me, which is.. partly why he ran when he was young. His father had been away since he was a baby, and came back ill and then a threat on Zion's life was made and there just wasn't time to comfort him like he needed. You don't expect to be held at knife point as a teenager, mm? See your aunt get stabbed protecting you. It was a lot for him."

“I’ll be honest he’s never really said much about you or his father he mentioned a sister but he always told me about Belle that’s why I was so happy when he found her a few months ago he tried to be placid but I could see that he loved seeing her.”
