She kissed his cheek. “Sleep nowElliott.” She whispered

She smiled softly

She closed her own eyes soon falling asleep and in the morning she was up early to get everyone breakfast

“Morning Zi how are you feeling?”

She smiled softly and she opened her arms to him to give him a hug. “Come here Zi you’re not too big for a hug.”

“What’s got you so tense? You’re safe here Zion.”

"Zion it's not that easy darling, even if I did help you." She told him gently brushing some hair from his face. "Zion, everyone knows who you are." She reminded him. "Changing your name doesn't change your face lovely" She reminded him gently. "But you need to talk to your parents sweetheart." She suggested.

"Zion, you know I can't." She told him. "What has made you decide this?"

"Zion, answer the question." She told him. "If I helped you, your mother and father will rain hell down on me."

"Zion, I cannot help."

"Zion, enough talk of this, I understan that you are hurting, I understand how you feel but you need to smooth things over with them first."

“Why?”

“Zion,” she sighed. “Do you know anything about your parents? Those two are the strongest people I know, if you think your mother is beaten down you’re wrong.” She reminded him. “But your father would have been around more if he could Zion, he didn’t plan to miss most of your life, you know this.” She reminded him. “He does care about you, in his own way.”
