Rohan though, he has been here longer, he seems more comfortable. I won't be forcing anyone home if they don't wish to go, it is a conversation you may have to have with him."

And very desperate… And if I were as mad as they all say, I’d tell you to delve into your own history books and see that Kings before you had two, three, four wives all officially. I’d tell you to bring the custom back and elevate me. Again, to entrench me and make it harder for you to leave.” She pressed her forehead to his. “You are tattooed on me, permanently, on my skin and on my heart, Kael. I accept I’ll never be your only, that you will always love others. But if that is the way I am to have you then that is the way I am to have you, and when you’re here with me, when we are together with our son… Nothing else matters to me.”

Kael's hand moved to undo the knot of her robe, hands brushing against skin as he pushed it off of her shoulders and they faded to black.
