April projected as loudly as she could, as often as she could. Still trying to get away from Anthony, trying to manipulate the water using her fingers as quickly as she could to hurt him - or stun him - to give her a chance to get away, though he spotted her every time and eventually broke her fingers to the point she couldn't use them, too.

April continued to project for another minute or two before giving up and falling silent, settling for screaming vocally now. Though her screams cut off half way through when Anthony grabbed her pocket knife and shoved the blade through her stomach, causing the breath to catch in her throat as she began to cough.
