"Hopes a big girl. She can cope here for two week without you. Me as Leon can't go, we agreed. Mum will need a break after what Mia put her through, her head must be pretty screwed up at the moment anyway. Just take the tickets and go."

Violet shook her head. "I can't."

"She's early and small but we're taking her crying to mean good lung function," a nurse said to him over the screaming.

He just gave a small nod in response to that before lifting his gaze up from the baby to see how Olivia was doing.

"When are they for?" He asked her with a small sigh.

"Please..."

"Tomorrow. Me and Leon sgreed we'd go at a better time. Mums probably feeling really unappreciated and we don't want her to get as bad as she did last time when we nearly lost her. Plus it's her birthday whilst you're going to be over there so you can make it special for her. And you, you've supported her through this, you've been her rock. It must've been hard for you too, especially seeing her pregnant and knowing you weren't getting the happy bit at the end. You deserve a break too dad."

Olivia was quietly feeding from one of the nurses, soon shoving her wrist away to look at Adam with a faint smile as she lay back exhaustedly.

"Why are you so desperate for me to go on a date with you?"

Klaus let out a small sigh and pulled Vanessa into a hug then, "Thank you, Ness," he whispered, "I'm so proud of you, of the person you've become. You need to give your sister some lessons."

"You did it, sweetheart. Thank you so much, you made this possible for us both." Adam whispered, leaning over to press his lips to hers before offering the baby to her so she could hold her, "She looks like you."

"You said I could take you on one, so I want to take you on one, I want to treat a pretty lady that I served today. Is that such a crime?"

She smiled softly. "Other then my parents you're the only one that's been there for me...and well now that Matteo is there I'm nothing..."

Violet was quiet for a good few minutes before finally speaking. "We go somewhere I choose then, so I can be sure you haven't got anything planned. And just in case you has I want your phone so you can't tell anyone where we are. There's my conditions. You don't accept and I walk away."

Olivia remained quiet, too tired to speak as she kissed him back softly with a smile and took their baby from him: kissing her head softly.

Vanessa hugged him back. "You need it more than we do at the moment. We can have a honeymoon when the kids are better, you and mum really need a break after everything. Mia will probably come round in time and if not then don't blame yourself. You raised us all the same and all of us but her have turned out fine."

"Deal, where would you like to go?" He asked quietly, pulling his phone from his pocket and handing it to her.

"Mm," Klaus mumbled quietly, "Maybe we should of spent a little extra time with Mia though... or maybe that five years effected her too much, and if that's the case maybe we need to spend a lot of time with her to fix that."

Adam watched her with a small smile.

"You spent an equal amount of time with all of us." Vanessa pointed out. "And you can try but I highly doubt Mia will be concerned with spending time with you now she has what she wants from mum. If she can forgive Caleb for those years then she should forgive you too. She'll be too busy To spend time with you."

"I did it." Olivia mumbled sleepily. "I didn't mess up. She's here..."

"I'll give you directions once we get going," Violet mumbled as she took his phone and turned it off.

"I told you that you'd be able to," He replied with a small laugh, kissing Olivia's cheek gently, "You done amazingly, Ollie."

He just nodded in response to that, waiting until she was ready before driving off.

Klaus just let out a small sigh.

"Tell mum I love her, yeah? And if I don't speak to you before tomorrow drop me a text when you're there safe." Vanessa whispered, adding "love you dad." Before heading out.

"Didn't think I'd be able to though...." Olivia whispered, rocking her daughter gently. She stayed that way for an hour or so, eventually settling the little girl and causing her to sleep. After a few minutes of silence Olivia drifted off herself.

Violet gave him directions to a large popular restaurant, having decided to go to the busiest place she knew for witnesses should he try anything.

Adam pressed his lips to Olivia's gently before taking the baby from her, heading out of the room to see if his parents were there with a baby bag.

"You too Ness," Klaus replied before heading up the stairs and into his and Tatia's room, "Tat?"

Kol was pacing up and down the corridor, looking towards Adam when he came out.

Violet went silent too.

"Mm?" Tatia asked from in bed, having been in there most of the day to try and sleep off how she felt.

"We're leaving for a holiday tomorrow, until after your birthday." He told her quietly, "Might cheer us both up a little bit."

"Does food taste odd to you? Normal food?" He asked curiously after a few moments.

Astrid was sat on one of the seats, waiting patiently and looking up when Adam left the room.

"Want to meet your granddaughter?" Adam asked them with a small smile.

"It doesn't change how important you must be to them though, surely?" Diesel frowned.

"No, it tastes fine, blood just tastes better."

Kol just peered into the blankets a little. "Congrats son." He said quietly.

"I'm sure she wanted you, Saffron," Diesel frowned, "Maybe you shod go home and talk this over with them, hm?"

Peter nodded in response to that, "I was just curious about it, that's all." he laughed, parking up when they got there and getting out of the car.

"Would you like to hold her?"

Astrid walked over to Adam and smiled down at the baby, "She's beautiful Adam,"

"Every one'll be fine," Klaus confirmed with a nod. "Ness and Leon planned it, was supposed to be their honeymoon but Holly is going through a rough patch and Nikolai is being clingy so Ness gave the tickets to us."

Violet got out too.

"Oh wow." Tatia smiled a little. "That's so nice of Ness, wow."

"Hold her." Adam repeated, though it was more of a command than a request now.

"I will, if it's okay," Astrid whispered, taking the baby off of her son when he nodded and offered her to her. Glancing down at her granddaughter, Astrid smiled and whispered, "Ah gosh, I feel old now."

He locked the car when he was out before heading into the restraint.

"I'm proud of her." Klaus agreed.

"Saff…" Diesel frowned.

"Me too. Wow." Tatia smiled, shifting so Klaus could sit next to her. "She must have been told how down I was... Did you mention it to her? I don't want Mia thinking I'm complaining about her to everyone."

The baby slept softly in Astrids arms, occasionally making a small shuffling noise.

"How's Ollie? Is she okay?" Kol asked quietly, not daring to go in himself in case she shouted at him.

Violet followed.

Astrid brushed her little finger through the tiny bit of hair on the baby's head, "Have you named her yet? What are you going to make her call me and your dad? Can we see her ofte-"

"Slow down a bit, she wasn't born that long ago. Haven't decided anything really." Adam replied with a roll of his eyes. "Don't know how often you'll see her though. It depends on things, doesn't it?"

Klaus just shook his head in the negative, "Let's not worry about Mia, hm? We'll go on this holiday and relax."

"where's you like to sit?"

"You need to go home and talk to them."
