Klaus just lowered her gently to a sitting position on the ground, pulling her onto his lap and holding her close. "It'll be okay, Ness, it'll be okay."

"Just that she loved everyone… something about a safe at the bottom of a suitcase for daddy." Sarai replied, her sobs calming.

"Hey Kira…. How did it go? Are they back?" Mia answered cheerfully as she answered the phone. Leaning in the kitchen doorway of Caleb's home and watching him. Obviously rather cheerfully as she'd assumed the best, attempts to get people back never failing in the past.

"Because she hasn't been dragged anywhere, she found peace, that's a nice thing. It could be worse, at least we can make ourselves feel better by knowing she's happy, right?"

Mia tensed at that, "What?" she asked quietly, "No…. No we can always get everyone back. That can't be right, Kira, it can't be."

"Oh," Mia mumbled quietly, "Uh.. thanks for telling me, I'll see you later, okay?" she asked, leaning into Caleb slightly.

Klaus held her close, smoothing her hair down with a small sigh.

"No I'm not, I agreed to do this. We agreed to do this." Peter whispered, glancing over to his friend before tilting his head forward to press against Violet's forehead. His eyes sliding close with a yawn, mumbling weakly, "I've missed spending time with you, Violet... it's been a while."

"I know," Klaus whispered with a sigh, "I know."

"The Other Side is collapsing, and they could only bring Sarai back... mums crossed over." Mia whispered quietly with a deep frown.

His friend was dozing quietly.

"I'm a shit girlfriend, mm?" Violet laughed weakly. "They're taking Kara off of her sedation medication. She should be out of a coma within the next week or so. When I know she's out danger I can give her my blood and heal her and things should be back to normal... But for tonight I'm all yours Peter."

"Me and Lucas will put Sarai in the car... You can deal with Nessa." Kira whispered before walking back to her brother and both walked to the car with Sarai.

Peter shook his head in the negative, "No... you practically have a kid, and that kid needs you. I get it, don't worry." he whispered. Lifting his head and reached over to shake his friend awake, "Come on mate, get up.. Violet'll give us a ride home."

Klaus nodded and watched them before looking to Vanessa and whispering, "Come on Ness,"

"I don't know," Mia replied quietly with a small shrug, "It just is."

Vanessa shook her head and curled up on the floor. Closing her eyes and willing herself to join her mother.

Klaus frowned deeply and just wrapped his arms around Vanessa, lifting her up and carrying her to the car without a word. Kissing the top of her head with a sigh.

Mia shrugged in response to that, "Not really." she whispered, "Means she'll never come back, Cal. Never... I'll never see her again."

Kira was on the phone to Hope in the car quietly. "Yeah, I understand. Just come as soon as you can Hope..."

"She promised." Vanessa kept mumbling under her breath.

Violet helped his friend up to his feet before walking him back to the car.

Peter wandered after them without a word, blinking repetitively to try and keep himself awake enough to walk to the car without collapsing.

Klaus put Vanessa down in the back of the car and whispered, "Come on, put your seatbelt on Ness." before
glancing over at Kira.

"No Cal... they won't. That's it."

Vanessa just curled up, unmoving.

"Hopes devastated and said she'd drive down as soon as she could." Kira said quietly.

"Zac? Zac can you wake up please?" Hope whispered thickly as she sat beside her husband on the bed, gently shaking him.

As soon as his friend was in the car Violet eased Peter in.

"Okay," Klaus whispered with a small nod, sighing softly at Vanessa's lack of response and putting her seatbelt on for her. Reaching over to smooth Lucas' and Sarai's hair gently before getting into the drivers seat.

"I'm fine... don't worry." Peter whispered with a yawn as he got in.

"Mm? What's wrong?" Zacarias asked.
