"Okay," Sarai whispered gently. Jogging towards the cars after one of the fire crew had explained that as there was a danger of it all going up in flames, when a whistle was sounded everyone was to return to a safe distance despite what was happening with the victims.

"No we don't."

"Yeah you do."

"No, we really don't. I haven't done anything wrong and she doesn't seem to think that she has either. She refuses to speak to me just as much as I refuse to speak to her so lecture her, not just me. Stop pressuring me. All you ever do is pressure me."

"I don't pressure you..."

"I want to know what it's like to feel ill," Cole mumbled quietly, "I want to be able to tell myself that life's short so I should suck it up when I feel like shit, but life isn't in my family. I want to get wrinkles, be surrounded by friends that are growing old too. I want to not have to lie about who my parents, grandparents, great grandparents are to me. I... just don't want to be me, I guess."

"I felt like that too, just after turning. I had - have no one and it's not nice at all."

"And no one gets it, everyone you talk to has these big plans that make you feel better but it's always for a price. You always have to change yourself in some way, or do something you don't want to do in return for it. No one is just.... there... like you need 'em to be. They don't even have to fucking know what's wrong, you don't want someone to talk about stuff too you just want someone..right there, without having to change yourself for the pleasure. But it's never like that."

"Exactly and in the end it's like.. if people won't support me, accept me for who I am then I must be a shittier person than I think I am anyway." Cole mumbled, lowering his gaze and kicking a stone as he walked. "Then why can't I go to Hawaii and be human and live how I want to live. Deal with issues how I want to deal with them, even if that means hiding my head in the sand until I'm willing to come to terms with any of it."

"Hey no, you're not shitty."

"You don't know me enough to make that judgement."

"If you were a shitty person you wouldn't have checked I was okay."

"If I weren't people wouldn't want to constantly change me."

"I think they want to help rather than change."

"You don't know what they're like. Don't defend them." He replied sharply.

"I'm not... Sorry." Dasha sighed.

Cole let out a deep sigh and remained silent then.

At the time they'd agreed, Dasha was waiting outside Coles house. She was sill wearing tr same clothes from the crash and looked just as disheveled.

Cole wandered out of the house, having changed had a bath and changed clothes to try and make himself feel better but hadn't dressed up at all. Wandering out of the house and greeting quietly; "I still have no ideas where we could go,"

"Well it can't be back to my place considering my landlord has thrown me out and taken my stuff until I pay rent."

"Really?" Cole asked for a grimace, "You want me to pay your rent instead of the meal? It's a bit surreal really…"

"No! No of course not. No. I'll just... Have to stoop low and compel a hotel until I find somewhere else."
