What does this guy lo-" He cut off as he swallowed down the brownie, shoulders becoming rigid, breathing hitching as he tried to work through the pain of his mouth burning. "Wh- what recipe did you use?"

“Just the one from the cookie channel, it’s a new recipe.” She told him and she grabbed her drink from her bag. “Are you okay?” She asked as she offered him her water bottle. “The only difference is hazelnuts and a new herb in the market called monkshood, they said it was meant to have an earthy taste to it.” She didn’t realise that monkswood was another name for wolfsbane.

Lifting his hand to his mouth to cough a few times before rolling his shoulders back with a deep sigh, adding hoarsely, "The uh.. I don't think that herb agrees much with me, is all? Like.. sticky, sharp on my throat."

Elliot laughed at that, a loud one that came from his belly. Strong enough to irritate his throat and send him into another coughing fit, though he reached a hand out to push her shoulder in jest.
