Arden snorted softly; shaking his head. "'Never mind."

"Rose is with friends, I already checked with her and she doesn't want to come." Alessia frowned. "It was going to be just us, Damian."

"Just what I said, I don't know how else to explain it. You don't understand, so it's irrelevant."

"I know, that's what I just said. Forget it."

Alessia got to her feet, silently leaving the room and walking through the halls to get her son.

"You should rest, like you told me."

Alessia stepped into her guest quarters, whispering a quiet greeting to the nanny as she approached her toddler. The boy giggling as he wiped the ash that coated his hands onto a plain piece of paper, messy drawing - the same hands moving to grab his mother's hair as she hoisted him up into her arms. "Zion, Zion careful."

Alessia reached towards the coat pegs, grabbing a small hat and putting over the boys mess of black hair. Directing quietly at Damian, "Where would you like to walk?"

"Human world."

Alessia took it quietly.

"Why did you choose here?"

"No, here is fine." She whispered, placing Zion down with the quiet warning; "Don't go near the river."
