"How did you convince a witch to do it? I bet they weren't too keen to." Astrid hummed before kissing him back, using her thumb to brush over the skin underneath his eyes.

"She doesn't, if you'd like that'd save me a job. We're just going to a little village an hour or so out of town, to the east,"

"A magician never reveals his secrets." Kol hummed as he kissed down her neck.

"Well, have fun, and I won't mind if you go sooner." she chimed, before heading upstairs to pack a bag for her mother.

"Kol, tell me, please." She whispered, leaning her head to the side to give him more room with a small content noise.

"I could of guessed that." He replied with a quiet laugh.

"Don't worry about it," Kol hummed against her skin, moving to her collarbone.

Tatia came back in a few seconds afterwards, handing a bottle to Klaus for Hope before picking Henrik up and sitting with him to feed him his own bottle.

Klaus gave Tatia a grateful smile before feeding Hope.

Henrik drank from the bottle contently.

Astrid closed her eyes for a few seconds, whispering as she knotted her fingers in his hair, "I don't like secrets, but so long as you didn't have to make some stupid bargain then it's fine."

Kol stayed quiet at that, simply pressing his lips to hers.

Hope glanced over to her brother, making sure he was drinking first before wrapping her hands around the bottle and closing her eyes as she fed.

Astrid frowned and pulled away then, not liking his silence. Resting her hand on the side of his face and making him look at her as she told him, "Tell me, pretty boy,"

Klaus watched quietly.

"It's pack behavior Nik." Tatia whispered after a few moments, realising what Hope was doing. "She's trailing behind him in everything - size, weight, strength, behaviours, interests - because the wolf part of her brain sees Henrik as higher up than her because hes a boy. The way she jus checked he was feeding then - in packs, the lesser wolves aren't allowed to start eating until the higher up ones have." she frowned.

"Don't worry about it..."

"I'm going to worry about it until you tell me, and the fact you won't tell me is worrying me even more." Astrid replied.

"We've never had two that are the same age before, so it's complete normal. It's not normal how quiet she is though, how she isn't happy."

"The witches brought him back the exact same as he was before he died..." Kol started. "The only way they could bring him back was a werewolf. A werewolf that will have to change every full moon and will age and eventually die..."

"Would you be happy being ranked under someone like that? So closely anyway. Mia dealt with it because Vanessa was out at school for a lot of the day, so she didn't need to check she wasn't soon something 'wrong'. The twins are always around each other, and Hope constantly has to check she's not doing better in anything just in case it upsets the balance."

Astrid listened quietly,  letting out a deep sigh as he went on and resting her head on his shoulder gently, asking, "Does he know?"

"Mm," Klaus hummed quietly with a sigh, "There's no way around it, really,"

Kol nodded, "Youve got no chance at Nik turning him into a Hybrid..."

"We separate them a little more when we're trying to teach them stuff, is all I can think of."

"I know, I know." Astrid whispered, asking quietly again, "Does he know, or do I need to tell him?"

Klaus gave a nod.

"He knows, he was a little disappointed, though under the illusion he's going to b living out his last years with you and your mother as some little tight knit family..."

Tatia watched as Hope fell asleep against the bottle, curling up even more against Klaus as she nestled herself against him and slept.

"Yeah, he kept saying that to me aswell - that he'll win mother back," She whispered with a sad laugh, "He really does love her, Kol, everyone keeps saying he doesn't but he does."

Klaus put the bottle to the side and watched Hope as he told Tatia quietly, "Vanessa's packed you a suitcase by the way, tomorrow morning we're heading off to a small village an hour or two out for a night, for our anniversary."

"I love you, and I wouldn't even dream of raising my hand to you, no matter what you'd done. If you cried too loudly during the night your mother would have a split lip the next day Astrid. His version of love seems very warped to me."

Tatia looked a little confused at first, though grinned as it settled in. "Thank you sweetheart, that's a great surprise."

"I would of left telling you until tomorrow morning but you would of noticed the packed suitcase later on," He replied with a quiet laugh.

"So maybe he didn't back then but now, after he's had time to think everything over.." Astrid whispered before sighing and giving up with a simple, "Just humour me and nod along, let me pretend, okay?"

"I can't let you think that's love Astrid. I can't, you dont treat the people you love that way. He cut you win a bloody sword on purpose for christs sake! Remember? The scar was how your mother knew who you were."

"It's still a surprise, thank you." Tatia beamed.

"I'm not stupid, I know it isn't." Astrid grumbled, just shaking her head and leaning back with a sigh. Glancing towards the T.V to see what Kol had been watching.

Klaus just smiled.

(( Night night ))

Kol just sighed and rubbed her arm gently.

Tatia glanced to Henrik then, still grinning to herself/

Astrid let out a deep sigh and kissed the side of Kol's head gently, "I'm going to head out and get him a phone, okay?"

Henrik was just glancing around.

"Time for your nap time soon mister," she encouraged quietly

Kol nodded; "I'll still be here..."

"You can come along if you want," She offered quietly, brushing her fingers through his hair. "I imagine it'd more fun then watching boring t.v."

Henrik didn't seem close to falling asleep, just making quiet sounds as he glanced around.

"I'm gonna go warn Nik about our... Guest, it's only fair he and your mother know."

She grimaced a bit and gave a small nod, "Okay, hope they don't react violently and hurt you." she whidpered, kissing his cheek.
