Lucas was awake in his cot, though his eyes were slipping shut again, the noise having woken him.

Tatia frowned and got up after him, leaning against the doorway and watching him quietly.

"My God I missed you," Vanessa whispered, before pulling away, gently pressing Karina into Holly's arms before running towards Leon and wrapping her arms around him and kissing him deeply and passionately.

Klaus walked to Lucas and reached down to smooth his hair gently, "Sleep Luc," he encouraged lightly, "Sorry for waking you,"

Leon kissed her back exactly the same way, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist and mumbling, "How're you back? You were human… how are you back?"

"Night Lucas," Klaus whispered gently before leaving the room and opening Kira's bedroom door quietly to check on her a few moments later. Doing the same with Hope afterwards and then finally Henrik.

"I can't, my dad fell apart, completely fell apart. My mum's going next, I can sense it. I'll be back in no later than an hour, I promise you my love. I promise you all." Vanessa said, giving him one last kiss, walking over to the children and hugging them tightly and whispering a quiet; "I promise." to them, before heading out the door and speeding to her parents.

Dakota had hidden in the wardrobe when she heard Klaus and Tatia getting out of bed.

Henrik was laying on his side on the bed, pretending to be asleep which rather easily tricked Klaus because of how exhausted he was.

"Weird… thought I heard one of them up." Klaus mumbled, closing the bedroom door and heading down to grab a bloodbag from the kitchen.

Leon watched her go quietly.

Malvolio shook his head.

Vanessa opened the door and ran into the kitchen, pulling her father into a tight hug instantly. "Daddy," she whispered, "I'm back, I'm here."

Dakota let out a sigh of relief when Klaus closed the door, getting out of the wardrobe and slipping into bed beside Henrik.

"Since Ness' has been gone he's been more alert but not as focused." Henrik grimaced, wrapping an arm around her waist, "It's been weird."

Klaus didn't react for a few moments before hugging her back tightly and smiling brightly, smoothing her hair down gently and whispering, "Ness… how're you back?"

Leon smiled and nodded, "That was her,"

"Poor kid,"

Dakota just nodded in agreement. "He hasn't been the same, people rarely are." she said as she pressed her head against his chest.

"Why? I thought she wasn't supposed to come back?"

"Our hair colour. It's rare, very rare. It's like that horrible bleach blonde stuff fake people try to get only natural. People give me and Viol stinking looks because of it, especially since our eye colour really sticks out because of it."

"They won't - I- I don't think they will anyway."

"Not just concerning this though, now you've bee on the inside. Heard how we all interact and stuff, I'm just curious about any observations you have…. I think it's kind of cool, social interactions being analysed. If I wasn't so into music I'd probably want to be a pychologist."

"I think you and your siblings have a lack of authority when it comes to your parents, and it comes from the fact that not only do you lie so much about them being your siblings but they look like they could be your siblings too. It's hard for you to see them as your parents because of how they look, because of what you tell everyone. You would all have an easier life if you respected your parents a little more." Dakota replied honestly, before adding with a laugh. "It's Sociology, not Psychology which studies what you're talking about, and it's what my brother Tristan majored in."

Holly nodded at that, snuggling down into bed with her sister.

"I can't stay long, I promised my girls I'd be back, but I had to let you know I was here. Stop either of you from going crazy, dad from loosing his emotions again..."

"And if I wouldn't of been so interested in music I would of known that." Henrik chuckled quietly, though didn't say a word in response to her observation. Whispering quietly, "I hate the fact I'm starting to think wanting to make money from music is a stupid dream, that it'll never happen…. I need to find a way to get discovered soon before that becomes a permanent way of thinking."

"Where did you go, Ness?" Klaus asked quietly. "When you died?"

"You going to wait for her to get back or go to sleep?"

Malvolio laughed at that.
